– Drive the weight right towards your oblique
– Keep your hand straight/parallel to the ground
– Control the weight & don’t let it control you!

Oftentimes, Rambod explains that people make the mistake of coming down too far or going up too high during repetitions.

“So, if you notice how he’s doing great form, controlling the weight, not letting it control him. So, some people will end up coming down into their thigh, other people go really really high into the chest. You want to bring it right to your oblique.”

Another Pro tip: Rambod advised lifters to not let their thumbs or pinkies go down.

“There are little slight variations if you want to go higher or a little bit lower but for the most part, always try to bring it straight to your oblique and make sure your hand is straight. Do not let your thumb go downwards or your pinky go down. Make sure you keep it almost parallel with the ground,” shared Hany Rambod.
