Ringing in his 51st birthday with a Facebook post published on August 7, 2024, bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler showed off his stacked physique, proving that age is just a number and that anything is possible with consistency and a gritty work ethic.

At one point in time he would mimic how Ronnie Coleman trained and preferred to pump iron at night because he knew his opposition wouldn’t go to such lengths. Not only did Cutler succeed in winning four Sandows, but he became the chosen one who dethroned the mighty Coleman and the only bodybuilder in history to win back an Open Mr. Olympia title.

He accomplished this legendary feat in 2009, when he quad-stomped his way to victory, avenging his defeat to Dexter ‘The Blade’ Jackson, and beating out second-place finisher Branch Warren. While he sailed off into retirement comfortably almost a decade ago, his training tells a different story. Cutler prides himself on pushing the boundaries of his strength and endurance.

Last year, he decided to undergo a jaw-dropping physique transformation, which he coined the ‘Fit-for-50’ challenge. It was a huge success as he managed to show off his shredded physique on stage guest posing at the Fit Expo. However, that was just scratching the surface of ‘The Comeback Kid’s’ capabilities, as he committed to another transformation for his 51st birthday this year. Judging by the results, it’s evident Cutler didn’t leave any stone unturned in his quest for an improved physique.
