Bodybuilder Martin Fitzwater is inching closer to his next bodybuilding competition with plans to make another bold statement. In a recent YouTube video shared on November 11, 2024, Fitzwater showed off his contest prep diet for the 2024 EVLS Prague Pro and revealed the supplements he has used to fuel his training efforts.
Martin Fitzwater was easily the biggest breakout star of Joe Weider’s Fitness Olympia and Performance Weekend. Although he lacked hype leading into the major event, he shocked the world on stage, holding his own against top-tier contenders of the division like Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan. Ultimately, Fitzwater secured fourth place in his debut at the competition, a telling sign of his promising future.
After his performance in Las Vegas, it didn’t take long for him to map out his next move. He decided to jump into the nearing 2024 EVLS Prague Pro. The competitors lineup was spiced up after six-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead announced that he’d compete in the Open at the Prague Pro. Fitzwater has already sized up ‘Cbum’ during a training session and is now walking fans through how he’s approaching the show from a dieting perspective.

“I’m going to be like 250 milliliters of water in there, it’s almost triple, like a three-to-one ratio [for cream of rice],” he adds. “Cooks really nice and easy.”
Meal 2 (Pre-Workout)
This was Fitzwater’s pre-workout meal before hitting arms and shoulders.
- 2 scoops of Hosstile Protein (Blueberry donut flavor) *Ninja Creami Ice Cream
- 5 Caramel rice cakes
Training Supplementation
- Bloodshot [Raging Grape]
- Uprising Focus gummies
- 1 Scoop of Intra R3
- 5 grams of creatine
- 10 grams of glutamine
- SILO9
Meal 3 – Post-Workout
- Hosstile Chocolate Ninja Creami Ice Cream
- Cereal (Count Chocula)
- 75 grams carbs Cookie Butter cereal
In between meals, Fitzwater takes an Epsom salt bath to relax his body from training.
“In about an hour, we will eat a whole food meal and go on with our day of eating. Getting to the end of the day here, we really just have a few more meals and an Epsom salt bath to take.”
Meal 4
- 150 grams of chicken
- Barbecue sauce
Normally, he’d have vegetables with this meal but said they weren’t included in his order, so he stuck to a carnivore-based dish. Then, Fitzwater touched on facing Chris Bumstead on the Prague stage on November 17.
“Super excited to stand on stage with my friend. We’ve talked about this before. It’s cool to see all the comments and see people talking and stuff now. Just hearing the talks is cool.
It’s really fun and to know I made a big statement at the Olympia and people to believe in me is even cooler because a year ago, if someone said I was going up against Chris my name wouldn’t have even been brought up,” he shared.
Meal 5
- Nighttime digestive drink (2 oz of lemon juice in it, water)
- 10 grams glutamine
- 20 grams of Calm (Magnesium powder)
He takes a digestive drink around 8 p.m. every night and said his body is responding appropriately to his preparations.
“Body is really starting to get in pace. The last week it’s been kind of finicky. I thought I was holding a lot of water but the last few days the body is really starting to respond how I wanted it to. Two days ago I got a two-pound drop, this morning was a two-pound drop, looks like I’ll get another tonight.”
Improvements for Prague?
“Work on volume of just getting my chest and arms as big as we can as well as mostly working on my mobility to make the poses as perfect as we can possibly get them.
I feel like we can open up my back more and accentuate those poses as well as opening that up will make those front poses wider and give me more sense of depth of width from the front.”
Meal 6
- 150 grams of chicken
- 2 rice cakes
- 50 grams Protein Ninja Creami (Milk chocolate)
- 20 grams of almond butter
While it’s not a ‘ton of food,’ this program seems to be working effectively for Fitzwater ahead of the Prague Pro.
“My two meals here to wrap up the day. Not a ton of food. Like I said we’re back in three weeks out mode. We’re starting to push my body back down and it’s responding really well. I’ll tell you one thing, my legs are sore as F from training with Chris so that’s good.”
The nearing Prague Pro is shaping up to be a historic competition. In addition to Fitzwater and Bumstead, fans expect Romania Pro standouts Horse MD (Marcello De Angelis) and Akim Williams to meet again for battle as well as former two-time 212 Olympia Shaun Clarida, making this show one you won’t want to miss.
Not only will cash prizes be fought for, but fans will finally get to see how Bumstead fares against Martin Fitzwater — the fourth-best bodybuilder in the world. Don’t miss the 2024 EVLS Prague Pro November 16-17 in the Czech Republic; Fitness Volt will have live coverage.
