Balanced proportions and symmetry significantly impact how judges score bodybuilding contests. In a recent Cutler Cast podcast, aired on July 14, 2025, Milos Sarcev ranked the symmetry of the top five bodybuilders in the world.
In 2024, Samson Dauda prevailed as the 19th man to win the Sandow trophy. Not only did he leave Sin City with the Mr. Olympia title, but he also earned a commemorative ring and a $600,000 cash prize. His triumph rearranged the pecking order in the Men’s Open.
Lunsford, the former champion, slid to third place behind Hadi Choopan. Meanwhile, Martin Fitzwater, in his debut, shone in fourth place. Behind him was Andrew Jacked, who rounded out the top five. With the 2025 Mr. Olympia approaching soon, talks of who is the most symmetrical are heating up.
Milos Sarcev Ranks the Most Symmetrical Physiques from Men’s Open
As presented in the recent YouTube video, here are Sarcev’s top five most symmetrical bodybuilders from today’s Men’s Open division:

- Derek Lunsford
According to Sarcev, Dauda has the most symmetrical physique in the Men’s Open, thanks to his balanced lower body. However, he deemed Derek Lunsford the least symmetrical of those talked about.
“He beats him because of more balance through his legs, Samson. Samson first, Andrew second, yes,” shared Sarcev.
“Who is third?” asks Cutler.
“Hadi I would think so too because of balance. You and I have talked about boxy,” replied Sarcev. “Martin before Derek, I’m sorry because Derek had weak legs and balance isn’t there.”
With greater conditioning and leg development, Sarcev argued Jacked could eventually overtake Dauda as the most symmetrical:
“It’s not just symmetry and shape that is being judged. You still have to put conditioning into your shape and symmetry. So, this is why, obviously, if Andrew Jacked would come ripped to the bone with bigger legs, he would probably win the symmetry round.
He is wider. He has a bigger v-taper. His chiseled abdominals that makes so much of a difference in the front double, lat spread, abs and thighs,” adds Sarcev.
Sarcev has been carefully watching the Men’s Open division this year. He recently laid out the one improvement Hadi Choopan needs to win back his Mr. Olympia title. Sarcev emphasized that if Choopan’s back matches the conditioning he boasts from the front, ‘the show is over.’
Should Andrew Jacked bring up his lower body, Sarcev believes he could make a case for the most symmetrical in the Men’s Open. For now, that distinction belongs to reigning Olympia winner Samson Dauda.
