The broadcast booth for the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding just added one of the sport’s biggest stars. Phil Heath will return as a commentator for the pay-per-view livestream of the 2024 Mr. Olympia contest from October 10-13; the news was confirmed on September 27, 2024, by the Mr. Olympia LLC Instagram handle.

The 2024 Mr. Olympia Weekend is back in Sin City with 11 IFBB Pro League divisions vying for supremacy which will be headlined by the Men’s Open category. Derek Lunsford emerged as the sport’s first two-division Mr. Olympia champion in 2023. He made this feat possible thanks to showcasing arguably the best back of any competitor in the lineup. His rematch against Hadi Choopan has been talked about all season long.

Heath last competed and took third place at the 2020 Mr. Olympia behind Brandon Curry, and former two-time winner Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay. He served as a commentator for the prestigious event in 2022 and 2023; fans are thrilled to see him resume the role for the event’s historic 60th anniversary.
