American rapper and singer Post Malone, Austin Richard Post, is widely recognized as one of the most commercially successful musical artists of all time. His songs have found acclaim beyond music and in the film industry as well. In a recent episode of the popular podcast show Joe Rogan Experience, Post opened up about dropping nearly 60 pounds by cutting out soda.

Post Malone first rose to prominence for his eclectic musical talents after the release of his debut single White Iverson in 2015. The song reached number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and established his status as one of the most promising budding prospects in the industry. Malone followed it up with more hit songs. His collaboration with Quavo and renowned hip-hop producer Metro Boomin on the single “Congratulations,” which went diamond, skyrocketed his popularity and made him a household name.

Malone reached the top of the charts on several occasions both in the singles and albums categories with hits, including Rockstar, Psycho, and Beerbongs & Bentleys. He stands as one of the best-selling music artists in the world with more than 80 million records sold and nine Grammy Award nominations.

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan is a man of many talents. While he’s renowned for his hosting skills on his massively successful podcast show, he also made a name for himself as a stand-up comedian. Having been a taekwondo player in his teenage years, Rogan found a home being a color commentator for the UFC, the most elite mixed martial arts promotion in the world, in the late 90s. He quickly turned into a fan favorite and became one of the biggest stars in the combat sports space with his skills on the mic.

Rogan fired shots at modern bodybuilders for pushing the size game too far. Being a fan of legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rogan argued the seven-time Mr. Olympia presented a healthier and better physique than most of the competitors of today. He called for a change in the Open division to make the sport healthier and safer for the athletes.

Following the rise of Internet sensation Liver King, Rogan took issue with the influencer’s claims of being natty. Rogan did not buy into Liver King’s natural lifestyle based on the nine ancestral tenets and was convinced he was on steroids and simply playing a gimmick for profit.

The 55-year-old has kept up a high level of personal fitness into his later years. While he’s an advocate of marijuana and other psychedelics, he makes sure to train daily and lead a healthy lifestyle. He goes completely sober for the month of October about every year and even crushed 75 push-ups in a row as part of the ‘Sober October’ challenge.

Rogan was not surprised when Liver King got exposed for his steroid use last year. He saw the exposé by Derek from MPMD coming and doubled down on his criticism of Liver King for deceiving his fans, who may have already been in a negative place to start with. Moreover, he called on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to come clean about his alleged steroid use following the reveal.

Rogan: “The key to those things is just every now and then. That’s the thing every now and then you reward yourself with a Coca Cola.”

Joe Rogan chimed in another popular fitness figure’s natty status, Mike O’Hearn months ago. While he considered the possibility O’Hearn could be a genetic freak, he doesn’t believe he could be natty given his insanely jacked physique at the age of 54.

On the other hand, Rogan heaped praises on NPC bodybuilder and fitness expert Jim Stoppani for his ripped physique in his later years.

Malone’s epic weight loss combined with Rogan’s influential voice will surely inspire many to improve their physical well-being.
