Shawn Rhoden may be forced to watch on, as a new Mr. Olympia is crowned in his absence. However, he is doing anything but sitting around, feeling sorry for himself.
Rhoden was ruled ineligible to compete at the 2019 Mr. Olympia by the AMI. This came, following accusations of sexual assault levied against last year’s champ. Despite all of this, Rhoden remained insistent that he would have things cleared up, and be ready to go come time for the big event.
However, as we are just around the corner from the start of the Olympia. Subsequently, it is clear that Rhoden will not be competing. Nevertheless, he has not let this deter him from continuing to train, and showing the world what we might have gotten.
Most recently, he uploaded some pictures and videos to his Instagram, demonstrating the work he was putting in at The Lift Factory, in Las Vegas.

There are multiple pictures and videos of Shawn Rhoden working different things. Nonetheless, the common theme is that he appears to be in simply unbelievable physical condition.
Moreover, it seems that he was fully prepared to peak this week, and put on a show for the judges. Therefore, it is clear that he has not taken his foot off the pedal, even in spite of recent setbacks.
Shawn Rhoden is ineligible to compete at this year’s Olympia. Still, there are other events at the end of the year that he can compete in. While he has yet to announce a specific intent to compete at any of these events. Yet, if he looks anywhere near how he is looking now, he will certainly be successful. Then it will lead to an exciting story, when it comes time for him to go head to head with whoever wins the 2019 Mr. Olympia.
