2021 Olympia Qualification List and Deadline Dates Announced

2021 Olympia Qualification List

The official schedule for the 2021 Olympia was announced a few weeks ago and we were surprised to learn that the massive event will return to Orlando, Fl (October 7-10). Fast forward a few weeks later and the Olympia has announced that Sunday, September 12 will be the cut-off date for athletes to be able to qualify for this year’s show. Therefore, any IFBB Pro League contests that take place after this date (September 13, 2021) will qualify competitors for the 2022 Olympia.  The list of qualified athletes has also been released.

The official “cut-off” date to qualify for this year’s Olympia in Orlando is Sunday, September 12.

All IFBB Professional League contests from Monday, September 13, 2021 onward will qualify athletes for the 2022 Olympia.

Due to the unexpected global health crisis, competitions were postponed for a good part of 2020 but eventually resumed. Although, there were a lot of changes due to gathering restrictions.

Then, of course, the 2020 Olympia was pushed back to December and relocated from Las Vegas to Orlando, Fl at the last minute but it went as planned. Hopefully, we won’t have to deal with such uncertainty this time around though.

Last year’s show was still a spectacle despite the circumstances. with the return of Phil Heath in the Open division, Big Ramy winning his first Mr. Olympia title, the return of the Ms. Olympia competition, and new champions being crowned from many divisions.

With new Olympia owner Jake Wood promising big things in 2021, the pipeline is looking exciting right now. But until then, we have the Olympia qualifiers to look forward to throughout the year and the list of athletes qualified for the 2021 Olympia will continue to be updated.
