The 2022 Arnold Classic UK went down this weekend (September 23-25) in Birmingham, United Kingdom. This show served as a 2022 Mr. Olympia qualifier. There were nine bodybuilding categories featured at the event, which included, 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Open, Men’s Physique, Men’s Wheelchair, Bikini, Figure, Fitness, and Women’s Physique.
Arnold UK was a highly anticipated event given the lineup of talent who battled on stage, especially the headlining Men’s Open division. One of the sport’s rising stars in Andrew Jacked returned as well as rival Martin Fitzwater, who was runner-up to Andrew back at the Texas Pro in August. In addition, James Hollingshead, Marc Hector, and Maxx Charles all battled it out to see who would walk away from the show with their 2022 Mr. Olympia invitation.
Athletes are running out of time to punch their ticket to Mr. Olympia, which is scheduled to take place December 15 – 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada this December. Bodybuilders have until November 20, 2022, to secure their invites to bodybuilding’s most prestigious event of the year.

2022 Arnold Classic UK Results
Men’s Open
The Men’s Open battle was one for the history books. Jacked was arguably pushed more in Birmingham than he has throughout his entire career. While Martin Fitzwater brought a more conditioned upper body compared to his showing in Texas, he again struggled with the sheer size and shape of Jacked. Meanwhile, contender James Hollingshead showed some massive improvements to his physique from his last time on stage.
By the end of prejudging, many fans were once again impressed with Andrew Jacked. Despite having earned his Olympia invitation last month, Andrew Jacked proved himself on an extremely competitive stage and won the final installment of the Arnold Classic UK.
