The 2024 Mr. Olympia finals in the Men’s 212 Bodybuilding division wrapped up on Friday evening, October 11. After an incredibly close contest at the Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, which started at 6:00 p.m., Keone Pearson claimed gold, winning his second title.

The stakes were sky-high this weekend as 212 Bodybuilding has become one of the most watched and talked-about events of the weekend. We have seen prominent titleholders emerge from this category such as seven-time champion Flex Lewis, Kamal Elgargni, and Derek Lunsford, who now competes in the Men’s Open class.

In the finals, Shaun Clarida and Keone Pearson battled it out. Clarida’s freaky density and paper-thin conditioning set the tone of the day, though Pearson’s back width and detail were on another level tonight. The two went pose-for-pose attempting to expose any weaknesses on each other. Ultimately, Keone Pearson secured the victory, solidifying himself as a two-time champion. Shaun Clarida and Angel Calderon Frias finished in second and third place.
