The 2018 Mr. Olympia champion shows his fans what it takes to step on the Olympia Stage.
When you see a massive and ripped bodybuilder… well, this isn’t always the case. Everything great in life requires a process, and it was no different for Shawn “Flexatron” Rhoden in his efforts to win the biggest bodybuilding contest in the world (Mr. Olympia).
Shawn Rhoden posted his transformation photos on Instagram, which showed his off-season shape followed by his stage (Olympia worthy) ready physique…
He explains the fact that there is a process to everything…
“Let’s be honest people don’t like showing their worst moments. And let’s be real body builders don’t love showing when they look “small” or when they look “fat” in their off season. But in reality there is a process in every sport, job, goal, etc.”
His hard work paid off big time and it was worth all the effort as he was able to dethrone seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath. His shape and conditioning were phenomenal for the 2018 Mr. Olympia contest, and it was obvious to everyone that he knew exactly what he needed to do to step on stage at his best.
“I may have looked small, big and out of shape during my process, But when it was show day I was EXACTLY where I was supposed to be and won the title of the 2018 Mr. Olympia.”
Rhoden then went on to write a few words of encouragement to his fans about “never giving up” and “trusting yourself”. Shawn Rhoden’s big win is a true testament to what you can achieve with hard work and perseverance.
Congrats to a deserving new champion Shawn Rhoden, as his hard work, determination and passion for bodybuilding has earned him the title of “2018 Mr. Olympia”.
