Days from now, the Men’s Open division will headline the 2023 Sheru Classic France Pro on September 30 for a cash prize, a trophy, and a coveted Olympia qualification. Aside from the main attraction, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, and Bikini competitors will also vie for gold.
IFBB Pro League bodybuilders are running out of time to secure their spot at the sport’s biggest competition of the year. The deadline ends on October 9, so competitors are aiming to bring their best to battle against the world’s top Pros at 2023 Mr. Olympia.
France will once again welcome one of the UK’s finest — Nathan De Asha — who has been on a roll this year after bouncing back from a pair of bicep tears. Weeks ago, he secured gold at the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro in Italy against Regan Grimes. However, when they rematched at the Europa Pro Championships, Grimes avenged the loss and De Asha took second.
In addition, fans anticipate electrifying performances from contenders Tim Budesheim, Vlad Alfred Chiriac, Roman Fritz, Theo Leguerrier, Andrea Muzi, and Vitor Boff, as they embark on their journeys to Olympia greatness.

Top Names to Watch at the 2023 Sheru Classic France Pro
Nathan De Asha
Denied gold in the wake of Grimes’ controversial win, De Asha enters this competition with a chip on his shoulder. Despite having already qualified for the Olympia this year, the Englishman prefers to test himself and earn prize money before stepping on the big stage.
De Asha’s muscle dryness, quad separation, and vascularity have been his greatest weapons as of late. He hopes to pick up his second Pro victory of the season but might have his hands full with this Open lineup. Even though he took the entire 2022 season off, bodybuilding veteran Jay Cutler has already predicted De Asha to make a considerable impact on the 2023 Olympia stage.
Tim Budesheim
Mass monster Tim Budesheim is another big name taking to the stage in Lille, France. Fans and bodybuilders alike have quickly taken notice of his enormous traps, capped shoulders, and chest striations. Considering he carries an exceptional level of mass, Budesheim could find himself in the driver’s seat this weekend with the right package.
Fresh off his third-place finish at the 2023 Europa Pro Championships won by De Asha, Tim is no stranger to competing at a high level, and his muscle hardness always makes for memorable posing routines. Budesheim has yet to step on the Mr. Olympia stage in his career, though that could change with a victory in just days.
Vlad Alfred Chiriac
With large muscle bellies, a thin waist, and huge shoulders, it’s no surprise Vlad Aldred Chiriac is being discussed as a title contender. Year to year, the Open Pro only seems to add mass yet always keeps an aesthetic look to his physique. Chiriac last took to the stage at the 2022 Arnold Classic UK in seventh place, which was won by Andrew Jacked.
Fans would take great pleasure in seeing Vlad make it to this year’s Mr. Olympia stage. Given his quad definition coupled with his upper body development, it would be foolish to count him out heading into France this weekend.
Roman Fritz
Roman Fritz’s consistency and discipline in the gym are major reasons for his momentum in the IFBB Pro League. His huge quads and balanced upper body helped him reach gold recently at July’s 2023 Big Man Pro. Like De Asha and Budesheim, Fritz competed at the 2023 Europa Pro Championships, where he slotted in a fifth-place finish.
Fritz, who always brings on-point conditioning, will aim to cement himself as a Sheru Classic France Pro champion with his best look of the season, which would serve as his second Pro show victory of the year.
Theo Leguerrier
While he wasn’t able to retain his Europa Pro Championship title this year, Leguerrier has made notable improvements with his time away from the stage. He took fourth place at the recent 2023 Europa Pro Championships against an absolutely stacked lineup that saw Regan Grimes come out on top.
Possessing a carved-out midsection and some of the best forearms in the division, Leguerrier is a dark horse in France this weekend. With a proper balance of mass, conditioning, and shape, Leguerrier hopes to establish himself as the champion on Saturday.
Andrea Muzi
Sporting a crazy V-taper and great lines, Andrea Muzi is another top name to watch out for. He was last seen in action in Italy at the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro, where he took home 12th-place honors. Muzi has seen it all on stage and keeps calm under fire.
Should he fill out his body and add more muscle, many believe with dry conditioning Andrea Muzi could out-perform his peers. Followers would like to see him re-qualify for a chance to improve his placing at the 2022 Olympia, where he finished outside the top 15.
Vitor Boff
Vitor Boff’s pursuit of Olympia glory continues this weekend. His muscle volume and conditioning carried him to a fifth-place finish at the 2023 Arnold Classic South America competition won by Behrooz Tabani.
Boff is not one to count out given his mass, leg separation, and symmetry. Having been a recognizable face in the Open class for years, fans expect some big changes to Boff’s physique since his last time out. Boff made it to the Olympia competition last year but placed outside the top 15.
