Bodybuilding veteran Milos Sarcev isn’t letting time or obligations get in the way of his fitness. In a recent post shared via Instagram on January 14, 2025, he showed off a jaw-dropping physique transformation to celebrate his 61st birthday.
Milos Sarcev led an illustrious bodybuilding career spanning over two decades. In that time, he tested himself against the greatest athletes to emerge in the IFBB Pro League from former eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman to bodybuilding standouts like Kevin Levrone and Flex Wheeler.
Sarcev stepped away from competing in the early 2000s but his passion for the sport is still on constant display. He’s the co-host of Jay Cutler’s Cutler Cast Podcast, regularly offering expert insight into the Open class and its rising stars. Having once coached Samson Dauda, who went on to win the Mr. Olympia title in 2024, Sarcev has a knack for bringing out the best in athletes.
With his 61st birthday approaching, Sarcev decided to take on a ‘Fit-for-50 ‘-style transformation inspired by Cutler. Despite spending a considerable amount of time helping up-and-comers reach their full potential, it’s evident Sarcev has no intention of slowing down his training.

Initially, Sarcev was unsure if he had the discipline to pull off such an impressive feat.
“It feels weird to be the same age as old people. 😁
Recently, during one of our @cutlercast episodes, @jaycutler challenged me to take on a “fit for 50”-style transformation, similar to his 12-week program. At first, I didn’t think I had the discipline for such a commitment anymore.”
After taking on a challenge from Jay Cutler, Sarcev was pleasantly surprised with his results.
“But, I decided to give it my best effort leading up to my birthday on January 17th, just to see what I could accomplish. Yesterday, I checked my progress and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Inspired, I decided to drop some water today 🫢😇 and se what happens.”
“Since I’ll be traveling this weekend, I won’t be able to assess my condition on my 61st birthday—but here’s a glimpse, three days early,” Milos Sarcev shared.
Fellow coaches and bodybuilders were taken aback by the physique update:
Sarcev isn’t the only retired bodybuilder to receive widespread praise thanks to his impressive physique. At 69 years old, bodybuilding icon Tom Platz refuses to take his foot off the gas pedal, and recently showcased his shredded quads, which he was known for throughout his tenure.
Despite Father Time creeping in, bodybuilders like Platz and Sarcev continue to push their mental and physical limits during training. Their physiques and progress are a testament to the skill level that was on display during their times in the sport.
