As if the 2025 Mr. Olympia wasn’t stacked enough — Behrooz Tabani is now set to make his US debut. On October 1, 2025, just nine days from the blockbuster event, Tabani confirmed he received his visa and will compete. To break down the news, judge Terrick El Guindy and Chris Cormier teamed up to give their thoughts on his chances.
It’s been a painfully long road to the Mr. Olympia for Tabani. He’s qualified for the prestigious event for the past five years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) but has yet to test himself against the world’s best bodybuilders. There was a glimmer of hope for Tabani after Hadi Choopan received his visa for the 2025 Olympia, but until now, we hadn’t heard anything.
To stamp his ticket to this year’s competition, Tabani dominated at the 2025 Dubai Pro and got to see how he sized up against some names he’ll see at Olympia, including William Bonac, Tonio Burton, and Rubiel Mosquera.
Behrooz Tabani to Compete at 2025 Mr. Olympia; Terrick El Guindy Says His Entry Shakes Up the ‘Entire Lineup’
On Instagram, Tabani announced that he received his visa and thanked fans for sticking by him throughout the years when he wasn’t able to compete at Olympia.

“After four years of waiting, my U.S. visa is dedicated to my beloved people. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood by me during these days, and special thanks to Ms. Salehi,” shared Behrooz Tabani.
During an OlympiaTV video, Terrick El Guindy spoke on Tabani receiving his visa, and what to expect at the 2025 Mr. Olympia.
“It looks like Behrooz Tabani has gotten his visa for the Mr. Olympia,” said Terrick El Guindy. “It’s basically revised the entire lineup because this is a guy who has won the Dubai Pro show twice—in addition to that, he has placed behind Samson Dauda in a lot of the shows. So, if Behrooz Tabani has gotten his visa, this will change the lineup.”
“A lot of people speculate that Behrooz will be on the first callout at the Mr. Olympia, and based on some of his results, he’s beaten Nathan De Asha, he’s beaten William Bonac in Dubai, he’s beaten a lot of the great guys. If he is coming to the Mr. Olympia, this changes the whole thing.”
Looking at his contest history, El Guindy argued Tabani could make a case for the first callout or, at the very least, secure a top-six finish.
“Is he in the mix as a top-five? Is he better than Martin Fitzwater? Is he better than Andrew Jacked? We have to look at Behrooz Tabani as being in the top-six, based on some of his results.”
Chris Cormier also chimed in on Tabani finally having the opportunity to compete at the Mr. Olympia in the US.
“People are going to have to rearrange what they thought they were going to do at the show. He’s a wrecking ball. Man, I’m so surprised because that’s the last thing I was thinking [would happen]. I thought Milos was going to be pissed off again because it would have been another year of him not getting into the show,” said Chris Cormier.
With Tabani in, this could completely rearrange the final standings at the 2025 Mr. Olympia. Lee Haney recently assessed the lineup, and he argued Tabani could have a massive impact onstage, suggesting he could make the top five.
“Behrooz Tabani looks great. I love what he’s looking like. So, I’m going to put him in the mix in that top five too,” explains Haney.”
The 2025 Mr. Olympia won’t be one to miss. Fitness Volt will have live coverage of the action, which is set for October 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada!
