Michal ‘Krizo’ Krizanek plans to make a statement in his next outing. On April 20, via YouTube, he shared his latest arm workout ahead of the 2026 New York Pro.

Shoulder injuries can be career-ending for bodybuilders in the Men’s Open class, but it wasn’t for Krizo. He bounced back successfully and took home a fifth-place finish at the Pittsburgh Pro. From there, he brought improvements to the New York Pro en route to a bronze medal.

The mass monster holds the cards this season. Thanks to his big win at the 2025 British Grand Prix Pro, he doesn’t have to worry about an Olympia qualification. He’s kept busy, competing often, and against high-caliber competition. Krizo also secured another third-place finish after battling Samson Dauda, and champion, Martin Fitzwater, at the stacked EVLS Prague Pro

Krizo sports some of the biggest arms in the IFBB Pro League. He plans to use that weapon to his advantage at his next pair of bodybuilding contests. He combines biceps and triceps training on the same day, which he believes has been a winning recipe.

Krizo has been completely open with his fans about the strategies he’s using to improve his physique. He recently outlined his peptide stack and diet in detail, providing his followers with an inside look at how a top-tier bodybuilder maintains size, conditioning, and fullness. He also shared an update on his training regimen for the New York Pro.

“I am training five times a week, but my plan is to change it, either this week, starting Monday, or at 10 weeks out, I’d like to train six times per week,” he shared. “Depending on my conditioning, and if necessary, I’d change workouts to train each muscle group twice a week, except for legs.”

Michal Krizo is accustomed to facing off against the biggest threats in the Men’s Open class. He has finished as high as seventh place at the Mr. Olympia (2023), so he could easily find himself moving up the ladder with the perfect peak.

Judging by his latest workout, Krizo is on track to present another freaky package. The 2026 New York Pro is set for May 8-9 in Teaneck, New Jersey.
