25-time Olympia-winning coach Hany Rambod is taking a closer look at the supplement industry. In a YouTube video from July 14, 2026, he broke down why creatine is the number one supplement for women.
“For size, honestly, there is no second fiddle to creatine. Again, some people don’t feel, oh, creatine, it’s just water weight or I’m scared of it. It’s really, really good, especially for women.”
Rambod holds the distinction as one of the greatest bodybuilding coaches the sport has seen. He has guided Men’s Open legends to the Sandow trophy on multiple occasions across decades, from Phil Heath and Jay Cutler to Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford.
He has also helped active IFBB Pros on the women’s side, including former 2024 Bikini Olympia Lauralie Chapados. With bodybuilding reaching more people than ever, Rambod shared why creatine supplementation is a no-brainer for women in fitness.
Hany Rambod’s Best Supplement for Women
In the video, Rambod shared that creatine can help with strength and muscle torque while training.
“Women who don’t want to worry about like going through doing DHEA precursors or hormones, or any of those things, but they just want to turn around and say, hey, I want something that is going to make me stronger, and it does help with muscle torque as well.”
He explained that women can also improve their stamina and ability to push through training by taking the supplement:
“You get power, you get torque, you get stamina out of that, but mostly, just overall strength. When you can push harder, you’re going to put on more size.”
“I think besides the basic pre-workout, whether you want a stim-based or non-stim-based, or whether or not you want to be able to increase your calories through different methods. Again, a big thing that I would always do is add Glycoject to people’s programs.”
Overall, Rambod believes continued use could lead to modest strength increases, like pulling an extra 10 or 20 pounds on a one-arm dumbbell row.
“At the end of the day, with the women, they love Cell K.E.M, and just love creatine in general because when they would use it, they’d be like wow, I really feel a difference. I can do 50-pound dumbbells, or 60-pound dumbbells, or I can do one-arm dumbbell rows 10 or 20 pounds heavier when I start cycling in creatine.”
Rambod isn’t the only top name in bodybuilding to get behind creatine. Arnold Schwarzenegger explained how creatine offers benefits to both beginner and advanced lifters. He warned that finding a reputable source of creatine is most important.
Rambod believes creatine is a low-risk, high-reward supplement. Over time, he emphasizes that just 5 or 10 grams daily can have a notable impact on women’s strength and performance.
“I think that’s one of the most underrated products out there,” he adds. “5 to 10 grams a day is optimal. It’s kind of gone off the radar again. I think people chase things that are a little more dramatic.”
