Bodybuilder Jordan Hutchinson won’t let his hunger drag down his prep for the 2026 Mr. Olympia. In an August 25 YouTube video, the Men’s Open star detailed his 3,448-calorie rest-day diet five weeks out from stepping back onstage.

Hutchinson has picked up momentum in the Men’s Open thanks to a string of breakout performances. In 2025, he claimed gold back-to-back at the Tampa and Texas Pro. In his Mr. Olympia debut, Hutchinson finished 12th and used the setback to dial in his peaking process.

This season, his first stop was at the Flex Weekend Italy Pro. Ultimately, Hutchinson earned bronze, behind William Bonac and Alie Edward. The showing pushed him to make dramatic improvements to his midsection, which he showcased at the Mr. Big Evolution Portugal Pro. Having earned his Olympia qualification, he’s keeping his diet strict to present his best in Vegas.

Meal 1

  • 55g American Pie Bowl of Gains
  • 5g baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 75g banana
  • 280g egg whites
  • 50g carrot cake oats and whey
  • 7g peanut butter
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 English muffin

For his rest day, Hutchinson kept his carbohydrates lower, as he continues to shed fat during prep.

“It’s 114 grams of carbs for breakfast… but that’s the point I’m at. A higher meal would be 200 grams of carbs for this meal.”

“The more muscle you put on, the more food you get to eat, but truly, the hunger is still there, just like it was when I was eating lower food. My body didn’t require as much, and the feeling of being shredded is still there. It doesn’t make it any easier.”

Meal 2

  • 175g Hummus Fit chicken
  • 100g rice
  • 50g zucchini
  • 33g avocado
  • 20g dates
  • 15g sauerkraut
  • Sweet Poppy sauce

He moved on with chicken and rice before having body work done.

“This meal is 58 grams of protein, 45 grams of carbs, 10 grams of fat. I’ve got to get this down quick because in less than two hours I’ve got to eat again on my way to Dante’s for my tissue appointment. I’m starving.”

Meal 3

  • 175g flank steak
  • 100g rice
  • 50g green beans
  • 20g dates
  • sauerkraut
  • Sweet Poppy sauce
  • Everything bagel seasoning
  • Salt

Hutchinson revealed that he’s been dealing with stomach problems, so he’s keeping his diet consistent with just a few different foods.

“Since my stomach is pissed off, I have to give it very few things,” he said. “If you guys ever have time to sauté your meals, it’s so much better, especially with red meats because the fats get into the rice and make it crispy.”

Meal 4

  • Chicken
  • Rice
  • 75g banana
  • Zucchini
  • Salt
  • Cinnamon
  • 10g peanut butter
  • Truvia

For his fourth meal, Hutchinson enjoyed chicken and rice, with caramelized banana as an additional carb source.

“Every time I do this meal, Brittany is like, ‘Is something burning?’ It already smells like it’s burning, but it’s so good, the caramelized bananas in there. Don’t knock it till you try it.”

Meal 5

  • 230g cod
  • 75g zucchini
  • 150g rice
  • Sauerkraut
  • Avocado
  • Salt
  • Sweet Poppy sauce
  • 8 oz kombucha

The Men’s Open Pro explained that he’s scaled back on sauces to see if they make his stomach issues flare up:

“Again, keeping it to one sauce today, for the last 48 hours. Just to re-introduce things slowly to see if anything messes my stomach up. That’s why we’re boring on the sauces today. Otherwise, I’d be using all of the Flavor Gang sauces.”

Meal 6

  • 25g Bowl of Gains (peanut butter cookie)
  • 27g Bowl of Gains (crackberry)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Ninja Creami (blueberry muffin protein, almond milk, salt, Truvia, xanthan gum)
  • 14g peanut butter
  • 1 Root Beer Float A&W Sugar-Free

Still dealing with hunger pains, he finished the night off with a cream of rice Ninja Creami dessert.

“I’m honestly super hungry today. I could have eaten this meal right after my last meal. I don’t know, I’m ravenous today; rest day feels when your calories are lower.”

Daily Macros
