Nick Walker is targeting an undeniable look at the Mr. Olympia contest in just 17 days. In a September 7 video, the Men’s Open star broke down his 5,760-calorie high-carb full day of eating ahead of the event.

In 2025, Walker faced ups and downs throughout the season. At the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro, he pushed Derek Lunsford into a sudden-death tie-breaker, but ultimately fell short. The setback forced Walker to consider another contest to qualify for Olympia.

He ended up competing at the New York Pro and won it without issue. However, at the 2025 Mr. Olympia, he mistimed his peak and dropped to sixth place. Since then, he’s gone on a contest rampage. Walker claimed silver at the 2026 Arnold Classic against Andrew Jacked and dominated the Tampa Pro. Now Olympia-qualified, “The Mutant” offered a look into the diet helping shape his physique for redemption.

Meal 1

  • Elev8 Cream of Rice
  • Mega Fit Chicken
  • Bananas
  • Peanut Butter
  • Salt
  • Ground Cinnamon

Walker started his day with chicken, cream of rice, banana, and peanut butter, a go-to meal in his rotation for years.

“This is basically meal one, which is the same meal technically as it would be on my off day. It’s just a little more of it.”

Meal 2 (Pre-Workout)

  • Elev8 Cream of Rice
  • Mega Fit Chicken
  • Bananas
  • Peanut Butter
  • Salt
  • Ground Cinnamon

Before training legs, Walker took down a repeat of his first meal for steady energy.

“We’ll eat this, and probably in about an hour, an hour and 15, we’ll go smash some legs,” he said. “High, high carb day.”

Meal 3 (Post-Workout)

  • 500g of sushi rice
  • Mega Fit chicken
  • Banana
  • Salt
  • Ground cinnamon

“The Mutant” revealed that this is the most rice he’s ever eaten throughout a bodybuilding prep.

“High day, of course,” he shared. “500 grams of rice… this is probably the most rice I have eaten in my entire career of bodybuilding, but I will also tell you it’ll be gone in probably two minutes. It’s really not that much when you’re hungry, which is cool.”

Meal 4

  • Elev8 Cream of Rice
  • Mega Fit chicken
  • Peanut butter
  • Salt
  • Ground cinnamon

To minimize additives and maximize control, Walker only uses plain cream of rice during prep:

“Nothing crazy, but this is actually a very tasty meal. And yes, just so everyone knows, when I am in prep, even in the off-season, I use pretty much plain cream of rice. I don’t use a lot of the flavored stuff.”

Meal 5

  • Mega Fit chicken
  • Rice
  • Banana
  • Peanut butter
  • Salt
  • Ground cinnamon

He admitted that every meal looks similar at this point, but wanted to keep fans up to date on his food choices.

“Every meal is the same at this point… but you guys love the contest like this, so we’ll keep doing it. This is going to be the high day. Next time we do this, it’ll be a training day, and you’ll see how that breaks down. Meal five, sit back and enjoy.”

Meal 6

  • Sushi rice
  • Mega Fit chicken
  • Peanut butter
  • Vegetables

Unlike his previous meals, this was one of only two dishes that didn’t feature bananas:

“No banana in this one, and just a little bit of veg. Gotta get a little bit of greens in today. That’ll be my greens. It’s the last meal. I’ll eat this and probably in about 30 minutes or so, go to bed. Get up, and go from there.”

Even though he didn’t crack the podium at last year’s Olympia, public confidence in Walker is high. Recently, former seven-time Olympia kingpin Phil Heath said Walker has the tools to win the Sandow trophy. Meanwhile, Samir Bannout predicted Walker will reach the winner’s circle thanks to his midsection control and ab improvements.

With nearly 1,000 grams of carbs making up his diet, Walker is on track to present a freaky physique. The 2026 Mr. Olympia will take place September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fitness Volt will have comprehensive previews and live coverage.
