The 2024 Arnold Classic is underway and saw the Classic Physique prejudging rounds wrap up, which took place on Friday, March 1 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Urs Kalecinski, Wesley Vissers, Ramon Rocha Queiroz, and Breon Ansley are fighting for first in Classic Physique following the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio prejudging rounds on Day 1.
The Classic Physique division arguably rivals the popularity of the Men’s Open category, with many stars emerging from around the world. At this event, fans expected stellar performances from Germany’s Urs Kalecinski and reigning 2023 AC titleholder Ramon Rocha Queiroz who continues to improve at every show. Meanwhile, Breon Ansley was in attendance looking to re-establish himself as the division’s biggest threat.
Ramon Rocha Queiroz commanded the stage with artful posing and improved conditioning. He was challenged by Urs Kalecinski and Wesley Vissers, who also looked to have brought their career-best packages. The bodybuilding community believes they currently lead the pack heading into tonight’s finals.
The first call-out featured Kalecinski, Vissers, Queiroz, and Ansley. However, the dry conditioning and striations of Wesley Vissers gave Queiroz a fight for center stage. Meanwhile, the second callout featured Damien Patrick, Michael Daboul, Kendahl Richmond, Emanuele Ricotti, Eric Brown Jr., and Darren Farrell who all received big pops from the crowd. The final callout saw ‘The Miracle Bear,’ Queiroz, Vissers, and Ansley battling it out for first place.
