Known for
The Arnold Classic title in 2020 is the biggest result, and it came in the same season as his best Olympia finish, fourth. He was Arnold runner-up in 2021 and third in 2023.
He has won the Masters Olympia classic physique title twice, in 2023 and 2025, and the Tokyo Pro in 2025, which means he is still winning at the top of the masters ranks a decade after turning professional.
Early career
He turned professional by winning his class at the 2013 North American Championships and competed in the 212 division first, winning the Texas Pro in 2015, the Puerto Rico Pro and the Toronto Pro in 2016 and the Europa Dallas in 2018.
The move to classic physique came in 2019 with a win at the Pittsburgh Pro. His Olympia placings improved from twelfth in 2015 to fourth in 2020 across the two divisions.

Where these results come from. Each contest in the table was recorded from a named source, and for Alejandro Cambronero those sources are NPC Contests, MuscleMemory, Arnold Sports and IFBB Pro League. Open any contest above and that page names its own source and links to it where the source is still reachable. MuscleMemory is the exception: the archive we recorded those older shows from no longer answers at the addresses we hold, so it is credited by name and not offered as a link.

Legacy
Division switches usually mark the end of a career rather than its improvement. Cambronero moved from a weight-capped class to a proportion-judged one and got better, which is the most useful thing his record demonstrates.
Sources
Competition placings on this page come from our own contest database and cover his record from 2011 to 2025.
Several of his 212-era wins appear twice in the table below, once under a "212" label and once under an older weight-class label. They are single contests.
Most-met rivals
Compare any two athletes →In 5 meetings, Chris Bumstead finished ahead of Alejandro Cambronero 5 times to 0.
Opponents are ranked by how often they shared a stage and how big the stage was, not by reputation. A meeting is one contest where both competed in the same division and both were placed.
