The 2021 IFBB Indy Pro went down May 8th, in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a complete recap of all the action that transpired at this bodybuilding contest, and the results for all divisions.

There was a lot to be excited for heading into the Indy Pro this year. A large portion of that comes from the fact that the event was canceled last year, as it fell right into the start of lockdowns from the global pandemic.

Nevertheless, the contest made its return this year and was joined by the NPC Midwest Battle of Champions, a show for amateur bodybuilders. On top of that, the contest came back with fans in attendance, albeit with a lesser version of the events from normal years, as they continued to follow strict safety protocols.

There was the likes of Justin Rodriguez, who’s looking to score a win at Indy Pro, and Hassan Mostafa looking to score a win at New York pro, and earn their ticket to the 2021 Mr. Olympia. However, the biggest talking point was, without a doubt, how Blessing Awodibu would look onstage.

Blessing made his pro debut at the Indy Pro, competing for the first time since 2017. By all accounts, he looked great leading into the contest, but there were a ton of unanswered questions plaguing the minds of fans ahead of this highly anticipated debut. Awodibu is also planning on competing at New York Pro next weekend against his online rival Nick Walker.

With that in mind, we got to see a lot of those inquires cleared up when he and the rest of the athletes stepped on stage. By the end of the contest, we got to see some exciting action that led to a pair of Olympia invites.
