Lee Labrada was more than just a bodybuilding standout, he personified the sport, having displayed exceptional balance, proportions, and symmetry. For as long as Labrada has been in the limelight, he has honored his roots in bodybuilding, claiming that the sport is the closest thing we have to the fountain of youth. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Labrada helped shape his son, Hunter, into a thriving Pro-level Men’s Open competitor. “Bodybuilding is the ultimate fountain of youth! 💪 These three images, spanning nearly 40 years, are a testament to what can be achieved with unwavering consistency and dedication. From 1988 to 2011, and now in 2024 at age 64, this journey has been a marathon, not a sprint. 🏃‍♂️”

Lee Labrada credits bodybuilding for instilling self-belief in him, from training commitments to proper nutrition.

“Every rep, every set, every drop of sweat has been worth it. The thousands of workouts never missed, the countless meals meticulously planned and consumed—it’s all part of a relentless pursuit of excellence. Bodybuilding has taught me the value of discipline, the importance of perseverance, and the power of believing in oneself,” shares Lee Labrada.

At 64 years old, he still pushes himself through challenging workouts and made it clear that it’s never too late to chase your goals:

“Swipe to see a video of me working quads last month, still pushing hard and loving every moment. At 64, I’m still here, still grinding, and still passionate about this incredible journey. Remember, it’s never too late to chase your goals and stay strong. Embrace the grind, and let your dedication shine through. “
