Out of all the sports in the world, Strongman definitely requires the highest calorie intake on a daily basis. All Strongman athletes are significantly bigger than the average person, with some of them even weighing over 400 pounds. Strongmen often point out that eating is as demanding as their training, as they cannot miss any meals. So, when the 2021 Europe’s Strongest Man, Luke Stoltman, and the reigning World’s Strongest Man, Tom Stoltman, sit down to eat, it is not surprising to see them order the entire menu.

Luke and Tom Stoltman actually did go through an entire breakfast menu recently, and shared the video on their YouTube channel. They visited the Hillhead Cafe in Tornagrain, Scotland. So, the brothers had world renowned chefs cook for them. They utilized this opportunity to taste everything on the breakfast menu and attempt a 20,000 calorie challenge.

It is actually the Stoltmans who were the first to try the new menu, and it appears that they were very pleased.

Luke and Tom Stoltman opened their breakfast challenge with a ‘Summer Breakfast Bowl’. While they did not disclose the size of the portions, this vegetarian bowl consisted of granola, “connage” yogurt, summer berries, and lemon curd.

The second meal of the session was ‘Buttermilk Pancakes’. They were made out of smoked streaky bacon, connage crowdie (luxury soft cheese), blueberries, and maple syrup. The Stoltman brothers absolutely devoured the pancakes and were ready for the next meal.

“Legit, I think these are the best pancakes I have ever had,” said Luke.

The third meal for the Stoltman brothers was a bit more complex and filling, as they ate some fish and eggs. However, it was not just any fish, but a highland smoked salmon, mixed with avocado puree, scrambled eggs, and dill. Before starting this meal, Luke Stoltman revealed how many calories the entire breakfast menu consists of.

“Calorie wise, I think this menu probably equates to around 20,000 calories… I think we can do it, so far I am feeling good.”

Next up was the main event, as all of the other meals were “warm-ups”. The fourth meal for the Stoltman brothers was the “Tornagrain”. They did not specify what exactly it was made of, but it had some black pudding, poached eggs, mushrooms, and some bacon. Having finished the standard “Tornagrain,” Stoltmans also consumed the vegan version as well.

The final meal of the breakfast for Luke and Tom Stoltman was the “Breakfast Sharing Platter”. It consisted of two bowls of oats with strawberries, pancakes with some syrup, and granola bars with raspberries. By the end of this meal, both Luke and Tom seemed extremely full, but at least they succeeded in their 20,000 calorie challenge.

Luke and Tom Stoltman will soon compete again, as Brian Shaw announced them as a part of the 2022 Shaw Classic roster. So, their daily calorie intake will still be unbelievably high. However, they do not eat 20,000 calories each day, so this was definitely challenging for them too.
