The 2024 Olympia Weekend took place in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 10-13. Competitors from the Bikini division met for the finals on Saturday, October 12 inside the Resorts World Theater, which began at 7:00 p.m. Following a close contest, Lauralie Chapados won her first Bikini Olympia title!
Over the past few seasons, the Bikini category has exploded in popularity. With floods of new Pros entering the ranks, standing out in the division has become difficult. Last year, Jennifer Dorie earned her second Bikini Olympia title but didn’t compete this weekend.
The 2022 Bikini Olympia, Maureen Blanquisco, also bowed out of this show after sustaining an injury. Former three-time Bikini Olympia Ashley Kaltwasser and reigning three-time Ms. Bikini International Lauralie Chapados were among the favorites to take home the crown after prejudging.
During the finals, Lauralie Chapados used her combination of shape and aesthetics to cement herself as a title contender. With graceful posing and balanced muscle from top to bottom, she proved herself with a tremendous look. Meanwhile, Ashley Kaltwasser stood out, especially from the back. In the end, Lauralie Chapados earned first place. Ashley Kaltwasser finished runner-up with Jasmine Gonzalez taking bronze.
