2018 World’s Strongest Man and Game of Thrones actor, Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, has gotten really shredded and looks more like a lean bodybuilder than a strongman these days. Hafthor gave us an update on his physique in a recent Instagram video. In the video he is jumping rope and his shoulders and abs just look fascinating.
Judging by the description, Hafthor seems to have given himself a new nickname, “Half-thor”. Hafthor has been dropping weight like crazy in the lead-up to his boxing match with Eddie Hall, and you can see his physique here:

Hafthor Bjornsson vs Eddie Hall Boxing Match
Hafthor and Eddie’s beef started after Hafthor broke the deadlift world record, lifting 501 kg. The record was previously held by Eddie Hall who got mad because of the way the record was broken. That is because Hafthor broke the record in his home gym, the record attempt was still regulated by the strongman officials. Immediately after breaking his record, Hafthor challenged Eddie to a boxing match.
The fight got postponed following Eddie Hall’s bicep tear in sparring. After the injury, Eddie had to undergo a surgery, while Hafthor fought against an arm wrestler Devon Larratt. Soon after, the beef between Bjornsson and Hall got fired up again. They added a $100.000 wager which didn’t last long, as they kept increasing it. The fight is now scheduled to happen in the month of March 2022, and the wager is now that the loser has to get a tattoo of the winner.
