Bodybuilder Seth Feroce’s highly anticipated bodybuilding comeback is now in jeopardy. The outspoken 212 Pro suffered a partially torn quad and adductor injury according to a statement he revealed on December 22, 2024.
Feroce made a name for himself in the IFBB Pro League 212 division in the 2000s. His granite muscle hardness and impressive conditioning levels set him apart from his rivals on stage. While he’s long stepped away from competing, that was expected to change.
He revealed he was mapping out a potential comeback, which he shared in a sitdown interview with his former coach, Hany Rambod. Given his promising physique updates, excitement around his return was mounting. However, it now appears a pair of injuries could change the course of his bodybuilding plans moving forward.

“Something I always wanted!! 🤗 A Partially torn quad. Vastus medialis and a serious strain on my adductor.
FML. Not a major tear so that is a Huge Positive!! Minor.I did a little damage to my left quad here about a week ago. I’ve been trying to pretend it didn’t happen and continue to keep pushing and training. Not how it works.”
He believes a previous ankle injury attributed to his latest setback.
“About 10 weeks ago I fell and twisted my bad ankle. (Left ankle) I broke it in two places and tore the last ligament I had left in there. That’s why you see me wearing Laced Up Tight AF Work boots everywhere! Stability Baby!! Kind of…
Years ago when I did something similar to my ankle, Doc told me that this ankle will be a big issue if I don’t get it fixed. (Reconstructive Surgery – re-stabilizing the ankle properly.) Well, Now, it’s kind of an issue. Its instability could be, may be, more than likely is, the reason for my quad issue here……. and potentially others.”
As for training and bodybuilding, Feroce underlines that it was time to ‘shut it down’ while he navigates the recovery process.
“Im one stubborn SOB. But this is something I have to sit and simmer on for a little bit here.
Not happy. Not excited. Insanely frustrated. But, it has been 12 weeks into my program here, it was time to shut it down for a little bit anyways. Just need to recover and make some decisions. đź’Şâš’đź’Ş” Seth Feroce shared.
With ‘unfinished business’ in the sport, time will tell if these injuries hold Seth Feroce back from a successful bodybuilding comeback. It may seem distant now, but he hopes to achieve something he hadn’t before and that’s step on the Mr. Olympia stage to compete. Fitness Volt wishes him a speedy recovery and we hope to see him bounce back on the horizon!
