Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a great advocate for staying home during this global health crisis. Now he shares some more workouts you can do, without ever leaving your house.
Arnold has turned into one of the real driving force behind getting people to stay home during these difficult times. However, he is aware of how hard that maybe for some people. That is why he shared his iconic no-gym workout with fans, so they can still get a good pump, without the gym.
But Arnold Schwarzenegger was not finished there. He took to Instagram again, to share another at-home workout with his followers. This time, it takes place in his backyard.
This is the workout he shared:
- Hamstring stretches
- EZ Bar Bicep Curls
- EZ Bar Ground-to-overheads
- EZ Bar Bent-over Rows
However, Arnold explains that it is not about doing these specific workouts. He realizes that not everybody has access to an EZ Bar like he does. Instead, he just wants people to stay fit during this time, no matter what you do.
“I came out here to exercise a little bit, and just kind of improvise,” he says. “Just to show you that improvisation is the important thing. Just as long as you do something every day, that is the important thing. Bike riding, push-ups, sit-ups, find some little weights, some bags, some water buckets, whatever it is.”
Schwarzenegger is just intent on making sure people find ways to stay busy and active while staying away from others. He understands that we may not be in control of the things that are going on in the world, but you can take your fitness into your own hands. The point he is trying to make is that you do not need a gym to keep yourself in shape.
