Cbum isn’t the only Classic Physique competitor who will be bringing their all to the 2024 Mr. Olympia stage. Ramon Rocha Queiroz is itching to earn first place after coming so close at the event last year, earning a second-place finish. He also was shockingly defeated by Vissers at the 2024 Arnold Classic show. Leaving nothing to chance, Queiroz has clearly been improving his back, boasting a pronounced V-taper in his latest update.
Let’s not forget Wesley Vissers, who has had a strong bodybuilding season thus far after securing back-to-back wins at the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio and UK events. Since then he has been focused on the quality of his training techniques and building a wide back. Evidently, his strategies have been successful as you can see in his recent update that shows off dense and sculpted muscle.
Vissers opened up about his thoughts heading into the 2024 Mr. Olympia, sharing that he is more nervous than excited because he is confident he will place much higher in the ranks this year.
“I don’t underestimate anybody but at the same time I am more motivated and more confident than ever that I can really make a big difference at this Olympia.
It’s not a nervous energy, it’s an excitement that I have for this Olympia. No stress at all. It’s actually more exciting than before now that I actually have the shot at a much higher ranking than before” Vissers shared.
Additionally, Vissers revealed that he is coming straight for Chris Bumstead and the Classic Physique Olympia title, determined to give him the fight of his life.
“So once I see that comparison, I at least want this one thing to happen, that I want to give Chris the toughest battle he’s ever had in his life. It’s not going to be just him, it’s going to be second. It’s gonna be a real battle this time.”
