Bodybuilder Jeff Seid is on the verge of making his debut in the Classic Physique division. On May 9, 2025, he shared a shredded physique update ahead of his first contest of the season at the International Asia Pacific PRO/AM Championships, scheduled for May 10.
Earlier this year, Jeff Seid confirmed that he was moving from the Men’s Physique category into Classic Physique. The divisions’ criteria differ significantly, with Classic Physique putting more stock into overall symmetry and leg development.
As one of the youngest IFBB Pros ever, Seid is a prominent name in the fitness and bodybuilding community. He’s riding off some serious momentum recently, after claiming gold at the 2024 Natural Men’s Physique Olympia. Seid is known for presenting detailed muscle definition and carries a low body fat percentage year-round. He has also found success as an aspiring model.
His bodybuilding journey has led him to a new division, and fans are overly excited to see how he fares against some of the best natural athletes in the world this weekend. Below, he discussed his carb-up process after finishing his final push training session as prep comes to an end.

Bodybuilder Jeff Seid To Compete in First Natural Classic Physique Show In Japan This Weekend, Shows Off Posing Routine
In a recently uploaded Instagram post, Jeff Seid dropped an impressive physique update for fans just one day out from competing. He explained that he’s ‘carbing up pretty hard’ ahead of his splash in the Classic Physique division.
“Finished up training, it was my last workout of prep. Did a little push day, so this is my high-carb day. I’m carbing up pretty hard,” shared Jeff Seid ahead of his Classic Physique debut.
En route to his big debut in Classic Physique, Seid maintained a disciplined diet, especially during his latest bulking phase. He shared a 5,500-calorie bulking plan he implemented to add muscle for the new journey, and emphasized that while it works for him, that doesn’t mean it will be a successful plan for anyone who wants to follow it.
Some in the sport have wondered whether Seid would consider the IFBB Pro League’s Classic Physique division in the future. As of this writing, it’s unclear, and it appears he’s content with competing as a natural bodybuilder for the time being.
Flying overseas and competing in a foreign country comes with its fair share of challenges, but Seid is confident he can make an impact in the new category. Based on his recent physique update, he looks to be in tremendous shape just 24 hours before showtime.
