Jeremy Buendia is readying his physique for what he believes will be his final Mr. Olympia competition. In a recent YouTube video shared on May 31, 2025, he broke down his 4,616-calorie full day of eating as he aims to pack on size before going into a cut closer to the show.
Jeremy Buendia is arguably the most popular athlete to compete in the Men’s Physique category. He holds the most Olympia victories of anyone in the division, having secured four titles throughout his career (2014-2017). In his last outing, Buendia finished in eighth place at the stacked Mr. Olympia back in 2023. Considering how long he’d been out of action, it was an impressive feat.
Now, his sights are set on the 2025 Mr. Olympia, scheduled to take place from October 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He’ll face off with high-profile threats including Erin Banks, Brandon Hendrickson, and reigning two-time titleholder Ryan Terry.

Meal 1
- 2 eggs
- 230 grams of egg whites
- 70 grams of oats
- 100 grams of strawberries
- 1 slice of sourdough bread
For the time being, Buendia plans to keep his food more lax as long as his body composition continues to improve.
“This is probably the easiest meal to get down. I’m still eating pretty good with some good variety.
We’re going to keep the freedom in the diet as long as my body composition keeps improving. I came back from Mexico at 188 pounds. This morning, I woke up at 201.”
Meal 2
- 200 grams of chicken breast
- 5 Corn tortillas
- 30 grams of olive oil
- Flavor Bomb Cherry Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp of avocado salsa
His pre-workout meal was tacos with chicken cooked in the Crock Pot with verde sauce.
“I’m going to eat this and head to the gym and hit some back,” he shared. “This [meal] has been a lifesaver. It’s clean and super easy to eat. She throws it in the Crock Pot with salt, pepper, cumin, and this green verde sauce.”
Meal 3
- 2 scoops of Nitraflex Whey
- 280 grams of strawberries
- 500 milliliters of lemonade
- 55 grams of oats
Buendia isn’t overly impressed with his physique at this juncture, but believes his look will only improve as he gets closer to the Olympia.
“I know I’m 20 and a half weeks out and this is the worst I’m going to look. I feel like I looked better looking in the mirror than when I saw that video. I’m my harshest critic, but I look fat.”
Meal 4
- Flexpro Meatball Pot Roast
- 260 grams of egg whites
He enjoyed a meatball pot roast pre-made meal from Flexpro and chugged down 260 grams of egg whites to meet his protein goal for the day.
“I’m just going to drink a cup of egg whites, that’ll put me at 52 grams of protein, which is perfect,” he shared. “Been using Flexpro meals for a little over four years now.”
Meal 5
- 2 scoops of Nitraflex Whey
- 250 grams of strawberries
- 77 grams of oats
- 500 milliliters of sugar-free lemonade
His next meal was another protein shake, but this time with sugar-free lemonade so his insulin doesn’t spike.
“Protein shake number two of the day. This far out, just starting my diet, trying to boost my appetite up. Using two shakes a day is making it easier to hit my macros and get all my protein intake in. In the evening, I’m switching over to sugar-free lemonade. I don’t want too much sugar that’ll spike my insulin levels up. I’ll add some oatmeal, but this will be a less calorie shake.”
Meal 6
- 7 ounces of 90/10 ground beef
- 1 cup of marinara sauce
- 230 grams of pasta
- 1 slice of garlic bread
- 1 small Caesar salad
His last meal was the most calorically dense of the day, which consisted of pasta, bread, and salad.
“This is my initial diet for the start of my last Olympia prep. As of right now, we’re just trying to pack on some good size, quality muscle, and try to gain some weight before we start our actual cut for the show.”
