Classic Physique bodybuilder Michael Daboul has seen better days. In a pair of Instagram story posts published on June 3, 2025, he shared that someone attempted to murder him in 2022 and showed off a 16-stitch scar on his face.
Daboul has quickly climbed the Classic Physique ladder in the IFBB Pro League. In 2024, he capped off an active season with a seventh-place finish on the Mr. Olympia stage. From there, he mapped out plans to compete at the 2025 Arnold Classic. At the event, Daboul shined with one of his most well-rounded packages, which helped him push into fourth place.
Now, his sights are set on the upcoming 2025 Dubai Pro, scheduled for June 20-22. However, Daboul admits he’s faced trouble en route to his next contest. He revealed that someone has tried to kill him, and on top of that, is now demanding money from him.
Michael Daboul Says Someone Tried to Murder Him And Is ‘Trying to Get Money Out of Me’
In the recent Instagram stories, Daboul reflected on the scar that he sustained following an altercation with an unnamed individual back in 2022. At the time, he didn’t press charges despite suggesting that they tried to murder him.

“Some people are asking me why I feel so down, well I feel so down because I feel betrayed. Why am I betrayed? I’ll tell you a little bit of a story. In 2022, in January on New Year’s Day, I got this scar, 16 stitches on my face.
Someone attempted to murder me, and I did not press charges. I lied to the whole universe about this, I started saying something fell down on my face while someone attempted to murder me.”
He said he felt betrayed and that the person had also tried demanding money from him.
“And yet, I did not do nothing about it. Same people who betrayed me now are lying about who did this to my face. There is no one in the entire universe who knew about this, who did this, except me and that person. The same person who betrayed me and trying to get money out of me. I’m willing to go under lying program to see who did this and let the world know,” he shared.
Sadly, this hasn’t been the first instance where Michael Daboul has faced seemingly unprovoked violence. At the 2024 1 Bro Pro show, he was assaulted by four security guards, which led to him suffering from broken ribs, a partially broken nose, and a black eye. Daboul revealed that he planned to pursue legal action against them.
Daboul aims to clinch his Olympia qualification in the coming weeks at the Dubai Pro. Our team at Fitness Volt hopes his issues are resolved peacefully moving forward.
