The 2027 Arnold Classic lineup could rival the Mr. Olympia. In an October 6 post, Hadi Choopan’s coach, Milos Sarcev, confirmed that he is currently prepping for the event, set for March 4-7 in Columbus, Ohio.

Having secured the Sandow trophy in 2022, Choopan’s signature conditioning has helped him dominate in the Men’s Open. Back in 2024, he won the Arnold Classic after defeating Samson Dauda in a close showdown. However, his career has faced turbulence lately, both on and off the stage.

Choopan teamed up with Sarcev following his bronze medal finish against Nick Walker and Andrew Jacked at the 2026 Arnold Classic. Sarcev promised the best version of Choopan on the Mr. Olympia stage, but visa issues prevented the former champion from making it onto US soil.

“The Persian Wolf” never got the chance to stand against the best bodybuilders in the world in 2026, but that’ll change next year. The 2027 Arnold Classic roster is absolutely stacked. Reigning Mr. Olympia Nick Walker has jumped into the show, with Jacked and Dauda also set to clash. It’s a big opportunity for all contenders, as last year’s champion, Jacked, walked away with a life-changing $750,000 winner’s purse.

Milos Sarcev Says Hadi Choopan Has Officially Begun Prep for the 2027 Arnold Classic

Check out Milos Sarcev’s statement below:

“@arnoldsports 2027 prep – officially started 🫵🏻 @hadi_choopan,” Milos Sarcev shared.

Fans are excited to welcome Choopan back to a contest in the US:

“Hadi is the best in the world 👏👏👏👏👏👏”

“KING🔥”

“He would have won mr O”

“CHEEKS ARE GETTING CLAPPED AT THE ARNOLD! 🙌🔥💪 LETS GO HADIIIII”

“Hadi king all the time🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🙌🙌🙌”

Choopan’s entry raises legitimate questions about how the contest could be scored. Walker brought unparalleled conditioning to the 2026 Mr. Olympia, which worked in his favor. “The Persian Wolf” is also known for his incredible conditioning. It’s possible that Walker and Choopan could make it harder for the taller athletes like Dauda and Andrew Jacked to push into title contention, especially with the detail they showcase onstage.

Choopan is no stranger to the competition he’ll be facing. Throughout his career, he’s shown he can beat Walker, Dauda, Derek Lunsford, and Andrew Jacked. When he steps onstage, it will be his first contest in a year. This could translate into the freshest, best Choopan we’ve seen compete. The 2027 Arnold Classic lineup easily rivals the Mr. Olympia, giving fans another huge event to look forward to.
