Nathan De Asha 2023 Update

The sport of bodybuilding is not easy by any means. A bodybuilder’s path is full of challenges posed by strict dieting, intense training, and multiple other factors. Despite facing these obstacles, an athlete’s heart can break into a thousand pieces if they injure themselves moments before the competition. British bodybuilder, Nathan De Asha has gone through a fair number of trials recently. Tearing his bicep not once, but twice last year, he found himself sidelined from the Mr. Olympia 2022.

However, it is an athlete’s determination that helps him push through tough times. De Asha is all set to make a comeback in competitive bodybuilding in a few weeks as he prepares for the Europa Pro Championship.

The road to recovery is never easy for an athlete. De Asha underwent hours of physical therapy, trying to heal his injured bicep as soon as possible. However, even more challenging was the mental fortitude. As he announced his decision to not participate in Mr. Olympia 2022, people started circulating multiple rumors about what might be the case. Clearing up the air, De Asha revealed back in 2022 about his injury during a podcast with Desktop Bodybuilding saying:

“I threw my Son’s football and then my right bicep just snapped. So, I’ve only started training for the past 14 days. As people see me a lot, I was a lot smaller a few weeks back trying to do, you know a f***ing three-week off-Season to try to get to the Olympia.”

“I tore my left bicep in January right. Went to try the machine, tore my right bicep at the end of July. So, to all these little gobshi**s on here why I’m not doing the Olympia, it’s two bicep tears in the same f***ing year.”

De Asha’s Physique update 4 weeks before the contest

However, De Asha’s comeback is on the horizon as he is currently preparing to participate in the 2023 Europa Pro Championship which will be held on September 17, 2023, in Spain. Asha is currently looking forward to bagging his 10th pro title. Recently, he dropped a physique update on his Instagram account for his fans as well.

He wrote in the caption, “Flatter than a pancake. Tightest I’ve been 4 weeks out…Smile on my face as am positive in the process. No kebabs or curries in months so the foodie in me is pissed. Ha.”

By the looks of it, De Asha already looks pretty peeled four weeks before the contest. With a complete Christmas tree visible on his back, he looks massive in size as well as impressively lean and vascular. His posing in the video is a testament to his craft and years of hard work and dedication.

However, De Asha has not announced any propositions of competing at the Mr. Olympia 2023 yet, his performance at the Europa Pro Championship might help him decide his future plans. De Asha has been a promising threat in the Open category whenever he has competed previously. But only time will tell how he will perform in his comeback year.
