Powerlifter Sherine Marcelle just can’t stop improving currently, as she has claimed five deadlifts PRs in the past month. They were mostly repped PRs, but Sherine also scored a one rep max deadlift just a week ago. She has been trying to overcome the 500-lb mark for a very long time, and after months of hard work, she managed to notch it with a 505-pound pull. Not even ten days have passed since then, and Sherine has once again lifted more. This time it was a 515-pound (233.6-kilogram) all-time deadlift PR, which she shared on her Instagram.

Sherine Marcelle’s deadlift was raw, as she did not use lifting straps or a suit to aid her in the lift. Despite using no lifting accessories, Sherine absolutely crushed the 515-pound deadlift, as she was also very close to performing another repetition. She got it up to her knees, but decided to let it go and not risk an injury.

You can watch the lift here:

“And it just keeps going. 515lbs x 1 beltless for a LIFETIME PR ‼️. Went for a second and decided to save that fight for another day and save myself from injury.

Whatever wave this is, I hope to keep riding it. This was a 10lb Pr from my 505 dead. To have spent 2 years hitting the same number over and over and over again this is a blessing.”

Sherine Marcelle’s bodyweight is currently in the higher end of 190 pounds (86.2 kilograms). So she is making progress while remaining in the 198-pound (90-kilogram) weight class. Sherine is without a doubt one of the greatest powerlifters in this weight class, but it seemed like her deadlifts were not up to the standard which she set on the squats. Despite this, Sherine is making significant improvements in her deadlift, which means she could put up some incredible totals in the near future.

Sherine Marcelle’s Competition PRs:

  • Squat (w/wraps): 280 kg (617.3 lbs) — U90KG All-Time Second-Heaviest — (2022 WRPF Ghost Clash)
  • Bench Press (Raw): 127.5 kg (280 lbs) — (2021 USPA New York State Championships)
  • Deadlift (Raw): 227.5 kg (501.6 lbs) — (2021 USPA New York State Championships)
  • Total (Raw w/wraps): 620 kg (1366.9 lbs) — (2022 WRPF Ghost Clash)

Despite leaving more in the tank, Sherine Marcelle’s new 515-pound (233.6-kilogram) deadlift PR is 13.4 pounds (6.1 kilograms) heavier than her heaviest pull in competition. Therefore, it is obvious that Sherine is improving at a very rapid rate. She has already taken part in 12 powerlifting competitions, and with each next one, Sherine will inch towards multiple records. She has won nine meets, most notably the 2017 RPS Women’s World Championships and the 2021 USPA New York State Championships.
