Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson boasts a massive frame that he’s built with consistent work at his home gym, Iron Paradise. In a recent Instagram post, The Rock showed off his grueling leg day superset training session, smashing past multiple sets of leg extensions

Johnson rose in popularity quickly as a professional wrestling icon. He is lauded for his decorated career in multiple pro wrestling organizations like the WWE and the WWF. As a prolific actor, his films have grossed well over $3 billion in the United States and he’s become a global icon after starring in several hit motion pictures, like Marvel’s standalone success Black Adam

Known for his motto of ‘being the hardest worker in the room,’ Johnson prides himself on maintaining his strength and fitness levels. Whether it’s a brutal chest and upper body workout for a ‘super pump’ or killer leg day finishers with monster sets, The Rock doesn’t miss an opportunity to push himself, often gathering at odd hours of the night to ensure his training sessions.

Leg extensions are an excellent exercise for building strong and muscular quadriceps. Isolating the muscle group can produce a more satisfying pump – a goal Johnson consistently strives for in his training.

The Rock works hard but plays hard too. He demonstrates training techniques online and has shed light on some of his dietary choices as well. Refueling can be a daunting task for someone with a large frame like Johnson, so when it comes to leg day training, Johnson appreciates cheat meals. He’s garnered headlines for an In-N-Out feast of burgers and his power-packed breakfast of steak, eggs, oatmeal, and five peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
