Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is celebrated for his insane work ethic and philosophy of being the hardest worker in the room, which he crowned with an incredible career. However, due to his herculea physique, The Rock is often accused of using steroids. So, in a recent interview with Rob Moore on YouTube, strongman icon Eddie Hall shared his thoughts on Johnson’s alleged steroid use and theorized he was likely on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy).
The Rock first gained attention as a wrestling standout under the WWF/WWE banner. He pioneered the ‘Attitude Era’ of wrestling during the late 90s and early 2000s. Consequently, Johnson emerged as one of the biggest superstars in the sport. He capitalized on the momentum he gained as a wrestler and decided to pursue his passion for acting.
Using the same work ethic he developed as an athlete, Johnson found success in Hollywood and racked up multiple blockbusters under his belt. He’s one of the most popular men on the planet with a massive following of over 366 million followers on Instagram and regularly motivates them with training updates. As famous as he is for his workouts, Johnson is also renowned for his epic cheat meals.
Johnson often reveals the methods he utilizes to maintain his physique, and he recently pumped fans with an intense workout he used to complete his leg day training session four months ago. The workout was made up of five monster sets back-to-back with no breaks in between.
Another aspect of The Rock’s daily life is his diet, as Dwayne follows a strict plan. So, a successful social media fitness influencer, Will Tennyson, took on the challenge of trying out some of Johnson’s most decadent cheat meals for five weeks. The Canadian indulged in pineapple coconut pancakes, burgers, and the infamous ‘Sugar Train,’ an assortment of sweet treats.

Considering the insanely jacked physique Johnson boasts, there has been speculation about whether he takes steroids. The 50-year-old came under fire from UFC color commentator Joe Rogan for allegedly lying about his use of steroids after the exposé of Liver King. He called on Johnson to come clean about using gear and not mislead his audience.
Internet sensation Bradley Martyn also weighed in on the debate over Johnson’s alleged steroid use last month. Johnson declined taking steroids in the past but Martyn could not fathom the possibility. He gave Johnson credit for avoiding the topic instead of doubling down against it.
Eddie Hall defends The Rock for alleged steroid use & guesses he’s on TRT
In a recent YouTube video, Eddie Hall shared his thoughts on what The Rock uses to stay in excellent shape at the age of 50. After a carefull considration, Hall revealed that he believes The Rock is using TRT.
“I’ve been to America and I know what goes on in the medical world so to say,” said Hall. “I would believe that The Rock would be on TRT, which is testosterone replacement therapy and that’s a very good thing to do. It’s actually very good and healthy for you. It helps you be big and strong, helps you live a long and prosperous life. I don’t know can you attack someone for bettering their life?
“I don’t see how you can. The Rock’s doing phenomenal in life. He’s got the energy, looks amazing, and performs amazing. Why should he stop doing TRT just because someone says it’s wrong?”
The Rock still remains very active and only continues getting stronger and better with each day. So, he also shared a brutal lower-body training session for building muscle last month. He demolished four taxing sets of belt squats to optimize his leg gains with 3-5 count negatives.
