Six-time Masters Olympia champion Vince Taylor proved he’s still got it even at 68. Having recently posted on Instagram on September 9, 2024, Taylor showed off his ripped biceps while doing two variations of cable curls.
Throughout the late 80s and early 90s, Vince Taylor dominated the IFBB Pro stages. Over the course of his career, he racked up a total of 22 titles, originally breaking the Guinness World Record (at the time) until eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman surpassed him with 26.
However, Vince Taylor has maintained the record for most Masters Olympia titles having earned six consecutively from 1996-2001. In 2002, Taylor took second place, losing his title. In 2006, he would make a comeback to the bodybuilding stage at the age of 50, earning third place at the Australia Pro and eleventh at the Mr. Olympia.

The following year (2007), Vince Taylor once again took to the Australia Pro stage, netting another third-place finish before capping off his career with a tenth-place spot at the highly competitive Arnold Classic. While Vince Taylor is no longer competing, that hasn’t stopped him from maintaining his title-winning physique.

Taylor recently showed off his shredded arms while sharing what he coined the Senior Citizen Bicep Bombing Workout.
“Biceps Bombing Vt Style for Senior Citizens 🫠 68 yr” Taylor shared.
As a part of his bicep workout, he demonstrated two variations of cable curls, encouraging his followers to give it a try.
“Senior citizen (68)….Biceps Bombing workout.. 😉👌 Try it You’ll Love it . VINCE”
Vince Taylor isn’t the only bodybuilding veteran killing it in the gym decades later. Lee Labrada recently boasted his insane quads, comparing them over a nearly 40-year time span. He also shared that he believes the sport of bodybuilding is the closest thing we have to the fountain of youth and he may be on to something.
There’s also bodybuilding legend Dorian Yates, who at 62, is still showing off his jacked physique. While Yates’ methods may seem unconventional, like taking Ayahuasca in the Amazon rainforest, his dedication to staying fit and improving his mobility and flexibility has had an impact on his longevity.
When a bodybuilding veteran is offering you tips out of their playbook, you shouldn’t hesitate to take them, especially when they look like Vince Taylor does at 68. In a sport where longevity is hard to come by, Vince Taylor has it in spades.
