IFBB Figure bodybuilders battled at 2022 Mr. Olympia — the 58th edition of Joe Weider’s Mr. Olympia contest, which is taking place from December 15-18, in Las Vegas, Nevada. With well over 30 competitors vying for gold, it was a very competitive prejudging round, which happened on Friday morning at 9 am.
As one of the more popular female divisions in the sport of bodybuilding, fans were counting down the days to see them on the sport’s brightest stage. Talent came in droves to dethrone the five-time reigning Figure Olympia Cydney Gillon. As usual, she brought an astounding package to the 2022 Olympia stage.
In addition to Gillon, Natalia Soltero will be gunning for the Figure title along with 2021 Olympia third place finisher Stephanie Gibson. With so many competitors sharing the same goal, the intensity was already palpable on stage during prejudging.
Five-time Figure Olympia champ Cydney Gillon stood out amongst the group of competitors with her trademark conditioning. In addition, Jessica Reyes Padilla, Lola Montez and Jossie Nathali Alarcon Becerra commanded the spotlight throughout the show.
