The 2023 Masters Olympia is set to return August 25-27 in Cluj, Napoca, Romania, and will feature a total of 10 divisions. In a recent Olympia TV YouTube video, Jay Cutler and IFBB head judge Steve Weinberger revealed the rosters for each division competing at the upcoming contest.
The bodybuilding calendar will once again welcome the Masters Olympia competition following an 11-year absence. For months, fans have guessed and speculated as to which competitors would attempt the show. Initially, there was intrigue four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler might compete but instead, he’ll be in attendance showing off the progress from his latest ‘Fit for 50’ challenge.
As it stands, there is $229,000 on the line set to be divided among the 10 divisions. The wait is over as Cutler, Steve Weinberger, Alina Popa, and Terrick El Guindy revealed the competitors lists, which you can find below.
2023 Masters Olympia Full Roster
Men’s Open
The Men’s Open division will serve as the headliner for the 2023 Masters Olympia comeback. Kamal Elgargni, a former 212 Olympia winner, will aim to capture a major Open title after testing the category last year. At 51 years old, he continues to showcase improvements and fans have dubbed him as a commanding favorite looking ahead.
In addition, contenders Maxx Charles and Philip Clahar are eager to turn in impressive performances. They’ve both enjoyed successful Men’s Open tenures in the IFBB Pro League.
