Bikini star Lauralie Chapados is opening up about her plan to win back the Olympia title. In a July 28 YouTube video, she discussed her preparations, new coach, and goal of bringing her best-ever physique to the stage in under nine weeks.

In 2024, Chapados reached the pinnacle of her career. She defeated former three-time champ Ashley Kaltwasser and Jasmine Gonzalez to secure the Bikini Olympia title. A year later, she was unable to defend her crown and dropped to sixth place.

Chapados regained momentum with a silver medal finish at the 2026 Arnold Classic. In another battle against Aimee Delgado, Chapados claimed gold at the Pittsburgh Pro. When they rematched in Miami, Delgado emerged victorious. Staying active, Chapados broke down how she can push back into the title picture this September.

During the podcast, Chapados made it clear that her 2024 Olympia package wouldn’t have won her back the title last year.

“My 2024 Olympia, it was good for the criteria then, but I still believe that I couldn’t have won 2025 with the same physique that I won with in 2024. That’s how fast even now they are pushing the perfect fit of the stencil that I’m talking about,” Lauralie Chapados said

She shared that this prep has been a ‘180’ from her previous season, and she is now working with Damian Segovia, who has coached Cydney Gillon and Andrea Shaw

“It’s a complete 180. Obviously, making the decision of working with Damian Segovia that has won many Olympias and repeating titles too. We’re talking not two titles repeated; we’re talking like eight, with Cyd [Gillon], six with Andrea, working on their seventh. It’s a completely different grind. That’s where I needed to be.”

“I’m not afraid to say it. I’m 30. I’ve been in the sport for a long time. I’m not losing another title. I know I’m not going to feel embarrassed again onstage. When I do one thing, I just go to the extreme.”

She explained that her new coach monitors her training intensity to build her meal plans:

“I’m eating the right food to fuel my workouts, the intensity. He monitors my intensity every single day so he knows how to feed me. It’s easy.”

Looking ahead, Chapados expects to present the best physique of her life at the Olympia:

“This year’s Olympia, I’m going to have the best physique in my entire life. I know that for a fact. Whatever happens at the Olympia, victory or not victory, there’s victory either way.”

The former Bikini Olympia queen has also been open about her nutrition as preparations heat up. She recently detailed her full day of eating, which includes 10 ounces of white rice daily. In addition, she carefully chooses her vegetables and alternates carb sources depending on her training times.

Chapados believes she is on track to present her best in just under nine weeks. The 2026 Mr. Olympia takes place from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
