The biggest bodybuilding event of the year is almost here. In a September 16 post, Phil Heath was announced as the broadcast host for the free 2026 Mr. Olympia livestream.
The 62nd Mr. Olympia event takes place from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Olympia President Dan Solomon revealed that its new host hotel will be the Palms Casino Resort. Additionally, the organization shared that it was bringing back the ‘arena experience’ for fans and athletes in attendance. Now, the night shows are set to unfold inside the Orleans Arena.
The 2026 Mr. Olympia will undoubtedly make history. For starters, this year features the inaugural Fit Model Olympia, a new division recently created by the IFBB Pro League.
This hasn’t been the only change shaking up the landscape. The Fitness Olympia finals were also rescheduled to Saturday night as opposed to its usual Friday time slot. With preparations coming to a close, fans are excited to hear that “The Gift” will be calling the event in real time.

Having earned seven consecutive Mr. Olympia titles in his prime, Heath stands out as one of the most decorated bodybuilders of all time. He remains one of the sport’s top ambassadors, and his analytical take on physiques helps carry the event’s excitement.
In the headlining act, Men’s Open stars will collide for the sport’s ultimate crown. Derek Lunsford marches into his title defense with legitimate momentum. He went undefeated in 2025, claiming victories at the Arnold Classic, Pittsburgh Pro, and Mr. Olympia.
The reigning champion has a handful of threats to deal with onstage, including a surging Andrew Jacked, along with frontrunners Samson Dauda, Nick Walker, and Martin Fitzwater. Meanwhile, in Classic Physique, many expect Ramon Dino and Mike Sommerfeld to wage war for gold. Wesley Vissers will also be in attendance and remains a massive wildcard.
Ten other divisions will see their best athletes square off for supremacy in just a few days. The highly anticipated 2026 Mr. Olympia takes place from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
