One of the Wellness division’s most popular competitors is on the verge of a return. In a recent Instagram post (October 16, 2026), Francielle Mattos revealed that she’s ready to come back and compete again.
Francielle Mattos currently holds the record for most Wellness Olympia titles at three. Since losing her crown to Isabelle Nunes in 2024, she’s stayed quiet behind the scenes. While away from the stage, Eduarda Bezerra has emerged as a highly formidable champion. At the 2026 Olympia, she defeated Nunes once again to earn her second title.
The Wellness division has quickly become one of the most popular in the IFBB Pro League. Qualifying for the Olympia each year continues to become more challenging. Currently, Wellness competitors must win at least two pro shows or place within the top 20 in the point standings to earn their qualifications. For Mattos, that won’t be an issue. As a former three-time Wellness Olympia champion, she has a lifetime qualification for the prestigious event.
The division has moved on without Mattos, but that doesn’t mean she can’t push her name back into the title picture. It’s only been two years since she competed, and with time to rest her physique, this could end up being the best Francielle Mattos the sport has seen. Based on her latest social media offering, the champ appears to be in a good place mentally before dialing in her diet.

Mattos took to Instagram and said she was still in an off-season but confirmed she’s starting a diet to get shredded next month:
“Over here, we’re still in the off-season haha, you can tell, right? But next month I’ll start dieting to get shredded 🐺💗💪🏼,” Francielle Mattos shared on Instagram.
She went on to explain why the break from competition was needed:
“I needed to reset everything Poli, to take care of myself, but now I’m ready to come back,” Mattos wrote in the comment section of her post.

We’ve seen in the past that Olympia champions who take time off in their prime can have trouble with successful comebacks. However, Mattos has kept training consistently and eating clean during her hiatus. This could lead to the look she needs to dethrone two-time champ Eduarda Bezerra when they meet in Las Vegas. Fans will look forward to seeing Mattos back doing what she does best.
