Jordan Hutchinson is closing in on his first contest of the 2026 bodybuilding season. In a YouTube video from June 1, he detailed his low 3,789-calorie full day of eating five and a half weeks from the Italy Pro.
Jordan Hutchinson emerged as an elite Men’s Open contender in 2025, laying claim to a dominant victory at the Tampa Pro. To secure the title, he defeated frontrunners John Jewett, Joseph Palacios, and Quinton Eriya. This performance qualified him for the Mr. Olympia, though Hutchinson was determined to keep testing himself against world-class talent.
At the 2025 Texas Pro, he continued his dominance and won the Open Bodybuilding title. He managed to bring one of his strongest packages to date at the Mr. Olympia, which earned him 12th place in his debut. Looking ahead, Hutchinson plans to move up the ladder but has to clinch his qualification first.

Find his meal breakdown from the YouTube video below:
Meal 1
- 1 whole egg
- 1 brioche English muffin
- Crackberry waffles
- 60 grams of strawberries
- 75 grams of banana
- baking powder
- salt
- 15 grams of peanut butter
In the video, Hutchinson discussed his morning routine and revealed that he is using fewer performance-enhancing drugs and fat burners during prep.
“I’m up for a while before I finally eat, and I like my routine. So, wake up, weigh myself, and send Chris my weight daily. He keeps an eye on that pretty closely.”
“We’ve made some changes, implemented some changes, and I’m holding on to some more fullness,” he shared. “We’ve been very moderate this prep with any type of super supps and fat burners and things like that. We are kind of just ramping up now.”
Snack: Ninja Creami Recipe
- 280 grams of almond milk
- 1 packet of Truvia sweetener
- 1/8 tsp of salt
- 30 grams vanilla cake protein powder
- 25 grams of chocolate peanut butter protein powder
- 1/8 tsp of xanthan gum
He offered up his Ninja Creami smoothie recipe and warned against overblending it.
“You don’t want to overblend it necessarily because then it’ll get a lot of air pockets in there. Then, it’ll possibly go way over the fill line if you do that.”
Meal 2
- cilantro
- red onion
- 105 grams of rice
- 175 grams of chicken
- 50 grams of zucchini
- 33 grams of avocado
- dash of Everything Bagel Seasoning
His second meal contained 57 grams of protein, mostly sourced from chicken.
“This one is going to be 57 grams of protein,” he shared. “Next meal, which is pre-workout, is a lot more carbs, almost three times the carbs. Going to eat this and get some more steps in. Now I’m at 12,000 steps for a day and I really got to catch up. I’m at like 4,000 for the day.”
Meal 3
- 55 grams of sourdough bread
- 238 grams of jasmine rice
- 165 grams of chicken
- cinnamon
- salt
- 10 grams of peanut butter
- 110 grams of apples
His third meal was a combination of chicken, gut-friendly sourdough bread, and apples.
“Look how beautiful that is, guys, those softened apples. This is my infamous sweet and savory pre-workout meal.”
Meal 4: Post-Workout
- 64 grams Strawberry Wafer Bowl of Gains
- 56 grams Strawberry Candy Bowl of Gains
- 50 grams of Vanilla Cake protein powder
- 10 grams of glutamine
- 75 grams of banana
- 12 grams of peanut butter
To refuel after training, Hutchinson enjoyed protein powder and Bowl of Gains cereal.
“The Vanilla Cake is amazing,” he said. “That’s the post-workout meal. I’m going to dig into this because it’s been a long time since I ate my last meal, and I got home, and I was like going pretty hypo.”
Meal 5
- 175 grams of chicken
- zucchini
- Flavored On sauce
- red onions
- 33 grams of avocado
- Takeout sauce
Before winding down for the night, he ate chicken with avocado to stay satiated.
“I’ve got all my steps in,” said Hutchinson. “Going to settle down for the night, going to shower. It’s getting a little late, but I can cram both these meals in; the last one doesn’t have carbs.”
Following Hutchinson’s impressive 2025 season, bodybuilding veterans have taken notice of his potential. According to former four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, he predicts Hutchinson could fight for a top four spot at the Mr. Olympia with a bigger back.
Hutchinson is keeping his diet clean and strict in the lead-up to his next contest. The 2026 Italy Pro is set for September 5-6 in Milan, Italy.
