Jordan Hutchinson is tipping the scales at 263.5 pounds ahead of his sophomore Mr. Olympia appearance. In a September 6 video, the Men’s Open star broke down his massive 5,124-calorie diet four weeks before stepping onstage.

In 2025, Hutchinson found his footing in the Men’s Open division. He went 2-0 during the season, winning the Tampa and Texas Pro. He had real momentum heading into Vegas and earned 12th place in his Olympia debut. Since then, Hutchinson has improved drastically, especially his midsection and back.

Those changes were apparent in his last two outings. Hutchinson pushed William Bonac and Edward Kargbo for bronze at the Flex Weekend Italy Pro. He figured out his winning formula for the Portugal Pro and secured his Olympia qualification.

Training can take an athlete far, but Hutchinson understands that nutrition could be the biggest difference-maker when he hits the stage. In the lead-up to the event, his diet has been closely monitored by coach Chris Tuttle as they aim to present his all-time best.

Hutchinson kicked off his day of eating by sharing an Olympia prep update with fans:

“We are inside four weeks out because I’ll be onstage Friday night for prejudging at the Mr. Olympia. Very excited; it’s been a rough few days, that’s for sure. Fatigue has been very high. I’ve been very tired.”

“Getting the job done, and the high-day breakfast I get today is going to revive me,” he said

Meal 2

  • 133g of chicken
  • 300g of jasmine rice
  • 66g of avocado

He recently started adding rosemary barbecue sauce to his avocado and chicken for a sweeter taste.

“I just love anything sweet and savory as you guys have seen.”

Meal 3 (Pre-Workout)

  • 150g of chicken
  • 197g of jasmine rice
  • 1 pumpkin spice English muffin
  • 110g of apple
  • 20g of honey

For his next dish, Hutchinson reheated his apples twice for a softer texture and used a heavy hand with cinnamon:

“I also like my food really freaking hot, so probably going to warm this again.”

“This post-workout meal. I had 45 grams of Intra carbs before, so that adds to my daily total, but we got 47 grams of protein here, 150 grams of carbs, and 14.5 grams of fat.”

Meal 5

  • 133g of chicken
  • 255g of jasmine rice
  • 57g of sourdough bread
  • 66g of avocado

Winding down for the day, Hutchinson ate his fifth meal on the couch and drank kombucha, a drink associated with gut health.

“Going to enjoy this meal on the couch, maybe watch some Lord of the Rings. Sip on my Kombucha in a Christmas glass, random, and see you guys for meal six.”

Meal 6

  • 133g of flank steak
  • 300g of jasmine rice

He kept it clean and simple for his last meal of the day and watched Lord of the Rings before heading to bed.

“It’s been a long day, and I’m ready to settle in and eat my last meal and just chill.”

Total Daily Macros

  • Calories: 5,124
  • Protein: 236g
  • Carbs: 777g
  • Fat: 87g

Bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler isn’t counting out Hutchinson ahead of the Olympia. He recently argued that if the Men’s Open star improves his back, he could fight for a top four spot

“This kid is a year away from being in the hunt. If this Jordan can improve what he needs to improve right now, based on this, because the conditioning thing — he’s got that down like tenfold, but if he can improve his back, which I know he will — he’s a top-four threat. We’re talking about him at the Olympia next year as a frontrunner.”

Hutchinson has every intention of climbing the Men’s Open ladder in just 16 days. The 2026 Mr. Olympia takes place from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
