The most prestigious contest in the IFBB Pro League just became more accessible. In a September 9 video, Olympia President Dan Solomon confirmed that this year’s Olympia livestream will be free for fans worldwide.
The annual Mr. Olympia Weekend, which started in 1965, remains the ultimate proving ground for the best bodybuilders. Over the years, countless icons have emerged from its stage, including seven-time champion Arnold Schwarzenegger and eight-time winners Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman.
Last year, the standard viewing package for the 2025 Mr. Olympia cost $74.99. Having done away with that charge in 2026, the organization aims for record turnout from live attendance and online viewership.
Dan Solomon Reveals 2026 Mr. Olympia Livestream Will Be Free
In the video, Solomon explained what led to the significant change:
“I’ve got an Olympia announcement that I think you’re going to like. I know a lot of you have been waiting for details on how you can watch this year’s Olympia. So, I just called Jake Wood, of course, he is the owner, to give us some really good news about a few goals we were able to hit with sponsorships, exhibitors, our VIP program, new expo events. Olympia weekend continues to grow.”
Solomon, along with Olympia owner Jake Wood, will celebrate the brand’s success with a free livestream.
“When I shared all the updates with Jake, he said, let’s celebrate by giving away this year’s Olympia livestream for free. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do. This year, it’s no longer a pay-per-view. It will stream live for free. We will have details for you soon.”
He added that the kickoff party will also be free and will take place Thursday evening, September 24.
“Those of you headed to Vegas, we’re looking forward to seeing you on the official Olympia Superstar Kickoff party, an upgraded version of the Olympians Experience, it’s at the Palms Pool, our host hotel on Thursday evening, September 24. Guess what? That’s free as well,” shared Dan Solomon.
The stakes at the 2026 Mr. Olympia are extremely high. In the Men’s Open class, Derek Lunsford will aim to earn his third Sandow Trophy. Should he win, he will become the first bodybuilder since Phil Heath to reach three Olympia victories.
