Ramon ‘Dino’ Queiroz is keeping body fat minimal heading into his title defense. In an August 19 Instagram post, the reigning Classic Physique Olympia champion showed off his physique less than six weeks before stepping back onstage.
For years, Ramon Dino pushed six-time Olympia champion Chris Bumstead, but wasn’t able to take his crown. In 2024, ‘Cbum’ retired from the sport, leaving the title up for grabs. Fans assumed the crown would end up in Mike Sommerfeld’s hands. He carried significant momentum, thanks to his dominant win at the 2025 Arnold Classic.
At the 2025 Mr. Olympia, it was a three-man battle between Dino, Sommerfeld, and Terrence Ruffin. Ultimately, Dino prevailed, with Tyler Manion revealing that he won three poses to two. Additionally, the IFBB Vice President emphasized that Dino’s size helped him command center stage.
Since Dino’s triumph, Sommerfeld has competed at the 2026 Arnold Classic UK and defeated Wesley Vissers for gold. In the meantime, Dino has maintained a shredded physique all season long, with ambitious plans on the horizon.

Before preparations kick into overdrive, Dino had his physique and posing presentation assessed by head judge Steve Weinberger.
“40 years of history, surrounded by some of the biggest icons in bodybuilding. 🙏🏼 It was a huge honor to be part of such a special event and share moments with people who helped shape this sport.”
“We got a great workout in, shared some experiences, and also did an assessment with @steveweinberger.bevsgym ,” shared Ramon Dino.
For now, Dino is content with staying in Classic Physique, sharing that he plans to defend the title for five more years before a potential move to the Men’s Open class:
“Firstly, maintain the title for at least about five years there. And like I always said, at the end of my career there, I want to move up to Open and finish in Open. But we still have a lot to do. In Classic we already got the title. So we know we have a lot more there to receive in Classic Physique, and then in Open, it’s not for just anyone. But at least I’ll go out big,” he said.
Many believe Classic Physique has become the most competitive division in the IFBB Pro League. Time will tell if Ramon Dino can extend his reign when the Mr. Olympia returns from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
