Ronnie Coleman isn’t slowing down, as he continues to keep up with elite IFBB Pros from the Men’s Open. In a recent YouTube video shared on December 9, 2024, Coleman joined hands with Nathan De Asha for an old-school 90s back workout.

‘The King’ Ronnie Coleman is arguably the most accomplished bodybuilder to emerge from the sport. He shares the record with bodybuilding icon Lee Haney for most Mr. Olympia titles earned at eight. Not only was he known for his dominant stage presence, but Coleman weaponized mass and conditioning to stake his claim as the best in the world.

Nathan De Asha, meanwhile, is a thriving Open Bodybuilder known for his huge arms and massive proportions. He has wins over Samson Dauda and continues to improve under the IFBB Pro League banner. After being granted a temporary visa, De Asha will test his resolve at the upcoming 2025 Arnold Classic, where he’ll have a chance to face the reigning Mr. Olympia Dauda and mass monster Andrew Jacked on the horizon.

Lat Pulldown

During sets on the lat pulldown machine, De Asha and Coleman practiced a behind-the-neck variation. Then, De Asha spoke about going against Samson Dauda in Columbus at the nearing 2025 Arnold Classic. De Asha worked his way up to lifting the entire stack during lat pulldowns.

“Samson is going to do Ohio. I’m not going to win Samson anyway. You know what I mean? I’m not going to win him. You’re not going to win him. But he’s going to go for the money. He’s going to go for Arnold, I think he’s going to do Dubai and then he’ll do Olympia and then Arnold again,” said De Asha.

“He’ll probably tire out,” said De Asha. “He’s going for the money.”

“[He’s] making $1.1 million those two shows,” said Coleman.

Seated Cable Row Machine

While pushing through sets on the seated cable row machine, De Asha discussed some of his past contest appearances after Coleman noticed an Olympia painting inside his gym.

“The Olympia where I came seventh with me, Rhoden, Roelly, Bonac, and Phil, [2018]. Yeah, I think Bonac got five, Roelly got sixth, but I beat Bonac then, I beat Roelly, fuck yeah,” said De Asha.

“They didn’t know who you were,” said Coleman.

De Asha mentioned that the Arnold Classic helped pay for his legal fees.

“That’s why I’m thankful for the Arnold and stuff. They even offered to pay for it, to pay for the legal fees and shit to help me out.”

Hammer Curls

Nathan De Asha motivated Coleman during seated hammer curls. De Asha performed his hammer curls standing.

“Don’t let me be lazy. Got to get on!” laughed Coleman. “Make me tough!”

Concentration Curls

De Asha laid out why he would prefer more prizes like the ring given out at the Mr. Olympia to winner Samson Dauda.

“Not a ring, a watch or something [for winning a show] and get it engraved. It means more than money because it’s something you’ll cherish you know. Something that will always go back to the winner. If you had a AP watch with Ronnie Coleman and you are the Arnold Classic champion, it’s worth more because of who the person is and the value.”

The stakes at the 2025 Arnold Classic are higher than ever with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s announcement of a $500,000 prize for the Men’s Open winner. This dramatic increase in prize money promises to draw top-tier talent from around the globe, making the competition more intense and the race for glory fiercer than ever.

After overcoming numerous visa issues in the past, Nathan De Asha is set to compete at the 2025 Arnold Classic, one of bodybuilding’s most prestigious events. He’ll face off against the sport’s top athletes, with fans eager to see what improvements he’s made ahead of this highly anticipated showdown in March. Nathan De Asha’s return promises to add even more excitement to an already stacked lineup, as he aims to prove himself on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
