It’s almost game time for IFBB Pro competitors who want to win the sport’s greatest honor. In a recent video shared via YouTube on September 20, 2024, Breon Ansley, a former two-time titleholder, predicted that he will regain gold when the curtains rise in Las Vegas, Nevada for the event’s 60th anniversary October 10-13.
“Okay, family, back for another video, and this is a good one because this is a prediction video. Everybody out there is making their predictions, right?
Top three, top five, or where they think it’s going to shake out her at the Mr. Olympia coming up in October in Vegas, and you know it’s only right that I give you my predictions. You know it’s only right.”
Breon Ansley is locked in like never before as he prepares for the 2024 Mr. Olympia. After earning the Classic Physique Olympia title in 2017 and again in 2018, he is determined to restore his former glory on the prestigious stage this October. However, Ansley has to get through a stacked lineup of competitors who are all hungry for not just a taste of victory, but to be the chosen athlete to knock Bumstead off his throne.
Starting from the top, there is five-time Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead, who certainly won’t be relinquishing his crown so easily as he attempts to secure his sixth title. Behind Bumstead is Ramon Rocha Queiroz, a Brazilian standout, who has been runner-up in the past two Mr. Olympia events, coming up just short of gold.
Now, let’s not forget “The Dutch Oak,’ Wesley Vissers, who upset Queiroz at the 2024 Arnold Classic with a first-place finish. He followed up with a win at the Arnold Classic UK. Last but certainly not least is Urs Kalecinski, who is adamant that he will beat Bumstead with ‘super aesthetics,’ spot-on conditioning, and, of course, great posing.

Breon Ansley Predicts He’ll Dethrone Chris Bumstead at the 2024 Mr. Olympia: “Get Your Popcorn Ready”
Despite the stacked deck he will be facing, Breon Ansley is more confident than ever that this year will be the one where he earns back the Classic Physique Olympia title. Ansley believes that he has an edge over the competition because he is the only one (aside from Bumstead) to have won in the past.
“So, let me tell you why I should be the only one to say that I will be the champ come October 12, ready for this? Alright, I should be the only one saying that I’m going to be the champ because I have done it before. I am the only one who has done it before guys.”
Ansley revealed that his experience as a former champion is often overlooked even though it provides him with insights on preparing for the event.
“I already know what it feels like to be, not one, but two-time champion, so even more of a reason why that I’ll make the third championship happen.
That little detail has left out, that’s an important detail to be the only one who has done it before. So mentally, physically, I know what it takes to get there and I know what it feels like, right? I’ve embodied it before, very, very important” Ansley said.
He also emphasized that he is one of the only Classic Physique competitors to have beaten everyone that the bodybuilding community has ranked above him and is ready to prove them all wrong by becoming a three-time champion this October.
“Also, I’m the only person who has beaten everybody thus far. The only one that has beaten everybody that is projected ahead of me. That’s my prediction. Three-time champion and oh boy I can’t wait. Get your popcorn ready cause I’m coming for it.”
Breon Ansley has been hard at work to prepare for the Mr. Olympia stage. Throughout his prep, he has remained transparent about PEDs and has even given fans an inside look at his diet leading up to the event. Coming off an impressive first-place finish at the 2024 Dubai Pro, Ansley is locking in the details of what he believes will be a title-winning physique.
The 2024 Mr. Olympia is inching closer and closer, with just under three weeks until Las Vegas, Nevada, is taken over by bodybuilding’s greatest athletes, all vying to claim gold. Breon Ansley will face off against the Classic Physique division in the hopes of becoming a three-time champion.
