A man of many talents, Larry Wheels is well-known for his crazy feats of strength in the training room. In a recent post made on Instagram, Wheels showed how steroids age a person after sharing a before/after photo of himself.
Although Wheels competed in various sports, such as bodybuilding, arm wrestling, and strongman, he gained a lot of popularity as a powerlifting phenom. He’s also pushed his boundaries in strongman competitions throughout his athletic career.
Lifting heavy weights comes with risks and Wheels is no stranger to those drawbacks. He has endured injuries and torn muscles that have prevented him from competing before. In July, Wheels got back to heavy training to prepare for the 2022 Middle East’s Strongest Man competition. However, he could not make it to the event at the end of August as he was forced to withdraw after a suffering an injury.
Wheels is one of the most well-known faces in the fitness industry and maintains a strong presence online. He got the chance to settle his differences with fellow retired strongman Eddie Hall when they crossed paths at the 2022 Arnold Classic UK. They competed in a friendly arm wrestling match, with the more experienced Wheels beating Hall.

In a recent post uploaded to his Instagram account, Wheels shared two photos highlighting the aging effects from abusing steroids.

Larry Wheels never tried to hide his steroid use. He recently partnered up with Simeon Panda again for an intense training session and opened up about quitting steroid use after nearly a decade of taking them.
