Nick Walker is attacking his nutrition with as much intensity as his training sessions. In a recent video, shared via YouTube on September 19, 2024, Walker showcased his ‘low’ full day of eating and pre-workout supplement stack in prep for the 2024 Mr. Olympia.
“You saw what I eat on a high day so now, basically I’m going to show you guys what I eat on a low day or I guess my regular base diet day.”
It’s been a long road for Nick Walker to get to this point. He injured his hamstring and calf just days before testing himself against the best at the 2023 Mr. Olympia. Instead, he watched Derek Lunsford become the sport’s first two-division Mr. Olympia winner while sitting out watching from the crowd.
Walker could have held out for a special invite, but he chose a different route. He prepped for a comeback at the 2024 New York Pro in pursuit of his second ring. While it was a close show, he emerged victorious, cementing his right to stand against the best in October. Despite being counted out of predictions by fans and bodybuilding veterans, Walker appears more motivated than ever to capture the sport’s most prestigious title.

Check out his meals below:
Meal 1
- 200 grams of bison
- 60 grams of unflavored cream of rice
- Pink salt
Walker kicked off his low full day of eating with bison and cream of rice.
“Right now, I’ll just kind of eat meal one. Probably watch a podcast or something, actually right now I have one of Jay Cutler’s podcasts on right now.
I’ll eat this and then I’ll probably just go lay on the couch. I like to wear the compression boots on my legs I do that every day. I kind of feel like it relaxes me a little bit and I’ll do that for 45 minutes.”
Meal 2
- 200 grams of bison
- 60 grams of unflavored cream of rice
- Pink salt
His second meal was a copy of his first, which featured lean meat, cream of rice, and salt.
“Definitely pushing it, definitely grinding hard. You know me and Matt know what the end goal is and we’re going to push it,” said Walker. “I’ll show you guys exactly also what I’m using for my pre-workout stack.”
Pre-Workout Supplement Stack
Find Walker’s pre-workout stack below:
- RAW EAA (Pineapple flavor two scoops)
- RAW Pump2 (Two scoops)
- RAW Pump Non-Stim (Pineapple flavor one scoop)
- Raw Creatine Monohydrate (1 scoop)
- RAW Replenish (1 scoop)
- Uprising Ascend (2 soft gels)
“This is basically what my pre-workout stack looks like the majority of most days. Obviously between these two products here I’ll just switch up the flavors every once in a while but this is basically what I use for my pre-workout stack.”
Meal 3
- 50 grams of unflavored cream of rice
- 200 grams of chicken
- 100 grams of green vegetables
- Ground cinnamon
- Tobasco sauce
- Pink salt
Even though food is beginning to taper down, Walker says his strength is ‘holding up nicely.’ Adequate strength and concentration during training sessions are paramount for him after last year’s injuries.
“Overall, it’s good. The pumps are really good and they kind of fade out toward the end which is how I know my time is almost done at that point but it’s good. It’s good.
Strength is still holding up very nicely. Normally around this timeframe, my strength decreases pretty drastically and it is still holding relatively strong which I am happy about.”
Meal 4
- 200 grams of chicken
- Green beans
- Small serving of white rice
He wouldn’t disclose the amount of white rice he was eating, but enjoyed it alongside chicken and vegetables.
“We’re going to eat meal number four, probably watch a podcast for a little while, lay down, try and find a nice movie to watch,” he shared.
Meal 5
- Bison
- Green vegetables
Walker mentioned that his energy levels are starting to dip at this stage in preparations.
“Energy is down. It’s just that point in the day, that point in prep, yeah. We’re crashing hard now but we got meal number five.”
He also updated fans on his mindset and prep before calling it a day.
“We’re almost three weeks out and listen, I know people are not obviously expecting a lot out of me this year obviously I feel like, I know people get a little butt hurt that I’m saying how is he counted out?
Oh well, okay, well when you go from top three and then you’re making your comeback and no one even really has you in the predictions in that top five, I do see some people having me in the top five but one, I just want to make it clear, it doesn’t bother me. I don’t care.”
He isn’t underestimating any of the top contenders headed to the Mr. Olympia.
“I’m excited. It’s going to be a good Olympia. I’m not taking any of these guys lightly. I know Derek is on his A-game, I know Hadi is 100 percent on his A-game, Samson is on his A-game, Hunter is on his A-game, Andrew is on his A-game, everybody is on their A-game I can tell. And I love it.”
Walker will face one of the deepest lineups in years at the 2024 Mr. Olympia. Three-time Texas Pro champion Andrew Jacked will be in attendance aiming to pull off the biggest win of his career. But no one has forgotten about the top three from last year as Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan, and Samson Dauda ready their physiques for war.
Fans are thrilled to welcome Walker back to the sport’s biggest event of the year. Don’t miss full coverage of the 2024 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 10-13!
